The broom cleans my wood floor very well, looses some bristles when sweeping rugs. It is light weight and easy to use. I searched more than three or four stores plus WalMart for a wood and straw broom, none could be found.The broom I replaced was heavy duty and 6-7 years old. This one is a little better than just ok, considering the price. In my opinon it may last 1-2 years.

We were surprised and delighted with this broom. It is the solidly built brooms of the past, comfortable 42 inch length, and easy to handle. If brooms could fly, this would give the best ride.
