I purchased these to modify a tactical leg holster retention strap that I will use if I need to bug out so hopefully these snaps will only be used for pratice. These are large snaps 24s anyway, and have 1/4" posts for attaching to heavy meterial. I wasn't sure of the size when I purchased them only that in the discription it said that they were for canvas. The tool that is shipped in the kit works and fits the snaps well.
