The swivel base is not high enough to get to the bolts to mount the seat after mounting it to the boat. It needs about another inch or so in height.

Bought two swivels from Cabela's. Had to use a hammer to get first one to move. Should have checked Walmart first. Bought two of these and they work very well. Walmart units were made in America, Cabela's not. I would recoment these to all.
