The Frigidaire 70 Pint Dehumidifier is capable of continuous operation when the unit is located near a suitable drain. This white FAD704DUD dehumidifier features an easily accessible collection container with level indicator, a washable filter, and full-function electronic controls to remove both moisture and airborne particles. The dehumidifier features a full-bucket indicator and the system automatically shuts off when the bucket is full. Easy to maintain, just use the slide-out available at the bottom to remove the anti-microbial filter for cleaning. This Frigidaire white FAD704DUD 70-pint dehumidifier also has integrated casters that allow you to move the unit easily to wherever it is needed.

This dehumidifier works great. Hooked it up to a hose and drain with no issues or leaks. It is a little bit noisy but I wouldn't call it loud.

Does what it is suppose to do quietly and efficiently. Controls are easy to use. Water bucket is easy to remove and reinstall. Good looks and styling. After several weeks of use, we are very pleased with the unit.

Took about a week to drop the basement humidity down to the point where the unit now only cycles on and off intermittently. Water reservoir level ball indicator a simple but very nice addition.

I've had the unit for about two weeks now. It definitely pulls the humidity from the air. I need to empty the container once a day. I cannot attest to how long it will continue working, but it is working well now.

I ordered this product on April 16-2013 to the near WalMart store, and I picked it up on Saturday 20.
Since then it have been working good, with no troubles, I just followed the instructions.
A little bit noise, but its OK, no problem for sleeping. It only works when its necessary

Unit performs as expected. Lowers humidity in desired spaces and maintains that level. Emptying reservoir is simple and, when desired humidity level is met, is needed only once in a 48 hour period at moderate temps. Well built. Will see how it performs in moister

Have been using the unit for about a week in the second floor master bath and it did a great job sucking out all moisture. Using it currently in the lower level day room to extract the moisture from my hardwood floors due to a leaky dishwasher. So far its extracting a full tank a day which tells me its doing its job. We will see just how durable it is.

This unit is very simple and easy to set up. It works well in our basement even when air temperature isn't in an optimal range. For the power and capacity of this dehumidifier it is still relatively quiet. It seems to get the job done well.

I've only had this for about 3 weeks. I researched the de-humidifier on Consumer Reports before purchase. I've never had a de-humidifier before, so I had nothing to compare this model to. For people who like absolute quiet in a room, then this model is not for you. However, I'm used to fans and window air conditioners, so I don't mind the noise. My second concern was that, even though it was highly rated by Consumer Reports, I read lots of reviews about the longevity of the product (amoung other models as well). I decided to purchase the 3-year Wal-Mart warranty. Will review again if I experience any problems.

No problems running it continuously so far, if it last for a few years without breaking I will be very happy. It was the best priced dehumidifier I could find and appears to function very well. The main and drain bucket handles are a nice touch, and I like the drain hose option but haven't needed to use it yet.
Cons: The digital read-out is not really Ideal, and I'm not too sure how well the humidity gauge works because I only use "continuous". Hopefully when I need to leave it set to 40%-50% it won't give me any problems.

This dehumidifier is awesome!! I've purchased about 5 in the past 9 years and this is the best one so far. It runs quietly and collects water without any problems. I really like it especially over the $450 dehumidifier I purchased from Sears three years ago!! I highly recommend to anyone who needs to remove moisture from a room that has a tendency to become damp - like the rooms in my basement.
