I set a 55" flat screen on it, which is actually 49" wide. great fit. Sauder packaging was very good with corner protectors on all edges. There are a lot of pieces. Study the pictures in the directions which helps a lot when putting parts together. Helps to sort all 125 screws before starting. Plenty strong and sturdy. Its amazing what they can do with 100 percent partical board and some MDF. p/n 402902

Much like the other reviews...this is a gorgeous piece. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is solid and sturdy, with great storage space. It does take about three to three-and-a-half hours to put together, but the directions are very clear and tell you exactly how many of each piece you should have, so it makes it easier to sort them at the beginning (which I highly recommend). Some of the pieces are labeled, although it would be more helpful if all of the larger pieces were labeled, rather than about half of them. I would definitely recommend!

Read all the reviews about how hard this was to put together. After receiving it, the hardest part was getting it out of its package. The assembly took about 2 hrs. The entertainment center looks great!! Fits perfect in the corner!! Lots of room in drawers, fits kids VHS movies perfectly. Great price! Well worth the money. If you are on the fence about purchasing this product, do it!

My husband and I found this entertainment center on another website and almost bought it. Then, we checked this site to make sure that we didn't see another one that we liked better. We found the same item for $50 less on Walmart.com. It took a little longer than expected to receive our item but we are completely satisfied with it. It is awesome and makes our living room look awesome. It is really sturdy and fits all of our electronic equipment perfectly.

Plan on lots of time to assemble. Lots of particle board used, splits and flakes. All assembly hardware(screws,nails,bolts,etc )thrown into one bag, takes lots of time to separate into matching piles. Several parts are not marked for Id and are hard to identify correctly. Several pieces are designed to slide into grooves, grooves are made of particle board, parts are of all wood, wood pieces will split! Furniture is nice looking once assembled.

This product came with broken and scratched pieces. Sauder was willing to reship the part, but I was able to use it. I just used some furniture paint on it. Took a very long time to put together, I dont see many men having the patience for this. For the price it is a good deal.

We just got this yesterday....It took WAY too long to put together. Alot of the parts were not marked which made it even harder.....BUT, This stand is very sturdy. It is very heavy, and beautiful!...I love it. I do suggest that you use a screw gun even though the instructions tell you not to. It will save loads of time.

For the price, it is a very nice addition to our living room. It was purchased for our new 47" wide-screen, and it is perfect. It is very sturdy, and is even a little wider than expected. It did take a while to put together, but it is definitely going to hold up. The pieces could be marked a little better, and the instructions leave a little to be desired. I bought this to replace an old ent. ctr. that the t.v. fit into, not on top of, and that will take some getting used to. It is not too tall, and puts the tv right at eye-level while sitting on the couch, but waist level when standing. I would still recommend this for sure (just block out enough time to put it together).

Looks amazing once built! Took a while to build, and a piece was delivered broken. Thankfully it was a piece in the back and we bought brackets to fix ourselves. Didn't want to deal with returning, etc.
