I love this new addition to living room. It was somewhat hard to put together but with a electric screwdriver helped because of all the screws needed to puttgether this new nice piece.I love the sauder entertainment center Abbey oak. everything came in the same box, and need space to put it together, really I am very pleased with this product

We are pleased with the purchase and walmart offers a great deal on this entertainment center. It is about 100 dollars more at other online competitors. I put this together by myself and managed to complete it in around 4 hours. One confusing part that I put on backwards was the actual top where the tv sets but if you take the time and look at the placement, it shouldn't be a problem. This fit our Vizio 50 inch with about an 1/2 inch on both sides. Hope this helps.
PS Don't lose the instruction booklet because you cannot download the booklet from Sauder's website; you have to send them an email and they email you back a day later, unless its the weekend. Anyways that's my thoughts.

Not bad entertainment center. Will take time to assemble. Problems I had were a broken left side piece(used wood glue to repair) and some of the pieces were not labeled...after about 2 to 3 hours of assembly..not bad..for the price

I'm pleased with the unit. The assembly did take a couple of hours (an electric screwdriver is a big help). It probably wouldn't have taken quite as long, however, some of my board were not marked with the appropriate label/letter, which made identifying them more difficult.

This entertainment was purchased to accommodate a 60" Samsung TV. I realize, of course, that this furniture was not designed for a TV that large. I had to modify the furniture to get this to work. I took the piece from the inner support for the vertical shelves to the right of the TV, and used it as a brace to provide additional support for the horizontal piece across the top of the unit. I don't recommend this for most purchasers, but the TV fits perfectly and I am happy with how the mods turned out. It's too bad that Sauder didn't make something like this in the first place, and saved me the trouble.
The unit this replaces is a couple of inches wider, about five inches deeper and a foot taller, and considerably sturdier that the new entertainment center. Everything about the new unit seems flimsy in comparison to my older one (also made by Sauder.) The backing material is much thinner, and all of the MDF is thinner, 5/8" vs. 3/4'.
In general, most furniture for big-screen TVs offers a pitiful amount of storage - so much so, that I will probably need to purchase additional bookshelves or other furniture to hold the remaining contents of my old entertainment center. That is a problem not only with this unit, but nearly all home entertainment centers of this type.
This unit is good for what it is, but it could have been so much better by making the whole unit deeper. And if the unit had been designed to be sturdier, it could (should!) have had additional storage above the TV for movies, speakers, and the like. They recommend not putting *anything* on the top of this unit, which I think is a ridiculous and unacceptable restriction. Furniture that you can't set anything on top of? Really?

The unit that we purchased was returned to the store today. upon opening the package we found several of the pieces broken and or scratched. Manufacturer would not send me the damaged pieces and informed me to return product to the store.

A lot of work for a so-so looking piece of furnitu

The cardboard backing has slots in it that do NOT match up with anything. (Looks really cheap). Toward the end of assembly, the instructions read to lay this piece of furniture flat on it's forward (face) facing side. What it doesn't mention is that when you do this, the top 2/3 of the unit is NOT supported at all, and the weight of the unit will pull the screws completely out of where the top and bottom connect. We wound up using the shelfs (on their sides) to support the weight of the top, but not before ruining the left side of the unit. No where in the instructions does it say how far some of the screws you will need to put in should be tightened. Because of that lack of instruction, several times I found myself over-tightening and sending the screw point through the finish. For all the work that it took to get this unit assembled, combined with the price, I probably could have found one pre-assembled in a furniture store and saved myself a LOT of headache. Mark this one up to experience I guess.

The entertainment center is a little darker wood than I expected, but I do love it. It was easy to put together and seems very sturdy. I think if it came with actual dimensions it would be better for people that don't have a lot of space. The only dimensions were for the space the television would fit in.

I had been hoping (being naive) that this entertainment center would arrive already assembled. It was not and took me about 5 hours to assemble. It didn't help that I misread the instructions on two pages and assembled a couple of parts backwards. It also didn't help that a few parts weren't labeled. But, I got it together as it was supposed to be. In spite of the overly long assembly time, I felt this was a good product at a very good cost! It looks very good for a veneer structure.

My home theater for TV was terrible. After I opened the box, I saw that it was broken in 4 different places. I had to return the item and did not use it at all. I was very disappointed since it was a Christmas gift and I was not able to enjoy. I will never order anything else online from Walmart.

I love this entertainment center. It looks expensive and has alot of space! Other then it taking forever to set up, i know its very sturdy! Easy to read directions, all the parts where there, and it came in one piece. No dents or nicks on the wood! LOVE IT!!! It looks so nice!
