bought this tent to camp on a 900 mile motor cycle ride, had a sleeping bag, pots and pans, propane cook stove, 2 cylinders, top box full of food and drink,
Rode 250 miles first day, We all decided (20 other riders) it was time to get off the road getting dark, Several had Coleman Tents 3-4 man, It cam up a huge thunder storm, I had mine set up in 8 mins by my self, A am a lone rider wife wont ride, Any was had to get in tent it was raining hard, I did not have a drop of water in the tent during the 4 hr down pour, The other tents were drenched water every where, not my baby, Lite wt easy to set up and take down would buy another in a flash if need be, I did put water proofing on all the seams just for the sake of doing it as reccomended, for 40.00 you will have a home away from home, BTW we had one great time, Camped in the hill of Tenn, Snakes, Bears, And who knows what else, We rode the Tail of the Dragon, Wahooooooo will dod it again this spring,,,,,,, nothing like a cycle road trip, ps no one drinks thats why it was fun,,,,,,,:-)

I bought this tent because my boyfriend and I had nowhere to live at the time and were going to have to stay outside for a few weeks. The first time it rained, we got soaked! It's supposed to be leak proof but it wasn't. I returned it for another of the same tent and when it rained again the inside got soaked again. This tent is a piece of junk.

On my camping trip it rained the majority of the time and my tent I've had for years leaked, so I went to Walmart and purchased this tent. I chose this tent because on the packaging it stated that it was coated in Everdry and that the seams were taped to provide rain protection and waterproof the tent. The tent was simple to set up alone and I was rather impressed by how simple it really was. However I was gone for about an hour to dry my clothing and it had rained about 15 minutes of that time. When I returned to the tent the inside was standing in water. I will be returning this item due to incorrect "facts" printed on the package. Don't call something water proof if it is going to fill with water faster than a 16 year old tent.

You get what you pay for. I used this tent 2 times and the wimpy tent poles provided with it broke! They are only as round as a pencil and I was very concerned when I took them out of the box. Save time and headache, make sure you purchase a tent with ample diameter poles, not pencil thick! Look for at least 3/8" or 5'16" minimum otherwise they will snap.

It kept the rain out very well, however one of the plastic clips attaching the rainfly to the tent broke during set up. The tent is going back to the store.

This is a not so complicated camping good for Two Camp Cots or for a family of 2 adults + 2 kids. It is pretty spacious. Assembly takes about 15 min. It has windows with Screens all 4 sides and ventilation is pretty good from the top even if all 4 closed.

Inexpensive Tent for Any Camper

I've had this tent for over a year, and for the price and what it's been through, have had NO problems whatsoever. The mesh/vented windows offer a cool breeze when needed and when closed, offer good protection from the wind and rain. Rainfly also provides the added rain cover too. It's an easy one person set-up, so easy a kid could throw it up with no problem. The floor is thin, like most tents in this price range and the floor's not much different than the high dollar tents I own, but for those that don't know, you almost always carry a tarp and place it down first before setting your tent up. The ground could be a rocky, thorny area that could easily tear through the tarp floor and your feet or whatever else you may have inside. It should be a standard accessory with any camper....something most campers should know. This is an easy choice for a back-packer, cyclist, or everyday camper as it has proved reliable, light-weight, mostly weather-proof with the exception of torrential rain, and seeks to withstand another few years with the standard care you show for any outdoor piece of equipment. It can easily fit two twin air mattresses and a couple of bags, or one queen mattress and a couple of bags. It offers a place to hang a lantern and of course the electrical cord port for those that use that kind of power.

This tent leaked pretty bad because of the design. The rain fly didn't cover the window so the water came right into the zipper. Good deal for 2 people in good weather. Could have been designed better.

My only complaint would be its a little smaller than I expected. Excellent material and very easy to set up. This tent will last us a while because of the quality material used to construct it.

I'm a single mom who took my 3 and 4 year old camping. We were able to put a queen sized air matress in the tent along with our duffel bag of clothes and that was about all it could take. We used the Scotch Gaurd waterproofing spray as soon as we bought it and it rained the next day and the tent did leak slightly, but only at the seams (expected). Overall a great buy! Set up easily! Would buy again!

Window Views in all directions. Thank You Ozark!

It is good to see a 9'X7' tent that has windows on all sides. Most tent makers only give you windows to see out in all directions with giant family size tents. The extra windows give you a
better view to enjoy the outdoors, provide more ventilation, and most importantly can give you
more security in seeing what might be lurking outside your tent. Now if only Ozark could supply
some tents with more "manly" colors. Most tent colors seem to be designed for the woman's eye.
Why is that?

I am 6'4"+ and have a very hard time finding a tent to fit me. They never seem to be what they advertise. I have many tents and I am a seasoned camper. I purchased this tent Just to use on summertime motorcycle campouts. It has everything I need. I wanted windows for lots of air flow and to be able to look out for critters. This tent is absolutely perfect! And... it fits! It is more than I could want for the price. My last cheapo Ozark tent has been through years of abuse and is still going strong! I also have expensive tents for backpacking. Please don't be fooled by this label that says "Backpacking Tent". I'm sure it would be fine for that but it is heavy and not a 3 season tent, and for me when my life is on the line I do not settle for less. The five stars are for correct size labeling, tarp style bottom, ease of set up, and lots of air flow! Perfect for my application!

used it to camp for about a week in the woods on my family land had no problems with it til some rain started the 3rd day
*rainfly for this tent leaves the side window flaps exposed and if it rains water gathers between the mesh and the inner flap in a pool then it starts to leak badly ( solved the problem by stringing up some tarps over the tent after that no more window issues )
**the floor holds up well to the normal ground moisture with a piece of tarp under it however when rain gets under the tent it seeps threw the bottom ( i solved this problem by digging a ditch around the tent to let the rain wash away downhill in that ditch )
other that that i have no complaints

Did not rain, but we camped in Louisiana in 90 degree weather with 60+ degree nights. It was our first time taking our four year old son camping in a tent and we loved it! We had it setup in minutes and did not see a single flaw. The only condensation I saw was on my soda - everything else was bone dry even with the 63% humidity. Buy this tent, you will not be sorry!

I bought this tent at the beginning of the 2011 - 2012 school year. the first time i went camping with it it rained like no other. This tent held up pretty good, however when the water from the rain pooled up in one of the corners of the windows it started to leak, not a big deal just some seam tape or waterproofing applications. the tarp floor holds up good against water runoff and i stayed pretty dry. It's easy to set up, easy to take down, and can be compacted easily so that i can be attached to a backpack or put in storage.
