I am originally from Louisiana and have been wanting these pots every since I moved to Kansas City, Thank God for walmart.com I was able to order online and have them shipped to the store here. I feel like I have a piece of home now. They cook so good. Not none stick but a good cook will appreciate them.

I have had my magnalite pots and pans for over 20 years, and I love them. When my son established his home, he wanted the same ones, so for his birthday this is what I sent him. They are easy to keep clean, heavy duty, durable. I cook gumbo, stew, chilli, you name it, in these pots. I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys cooking.

I grew up watching my mother cook with Magnalite and finally got this set as a gift. After a year, the larger stockpot has so many pits in it that it's almost unusable. I was using it about once a week, which is not heavy use for cookware. I didn't expect them to keep their shine. In fact, I was surprised they were shiny because Mom's never were. I've heard that Magnalite changed the type of metal they use and they're not as durable. Mom beat hers to death on a regular basis. I put one in the fridge overnight with leftover spaghetti ONE time, and now it has rusty pits in it. If you plan on getting these, you MUST follow the care instructions WITHOUT FAIL, or these pots will fail on you. The instructions tell you that the only time you can put seasoning in their pots is for salting pasta water, AFTER it's already boiling! I stand by the old Magnalite, not this cheap stuff.

This is a set of cookware that should last a lifetime and beyond.

This is an excellent product and worth every penny. Very sturdy, cooks food very fast and evenly, and it's easy to clean. My husband grew up with the women in his family using Magnalite pots and he couldn't wait until our order came in. He loves it. And the very first time we used it together, I now love it. I also like that there are a variety of pots/pans sizes in the set. Magnalite is definitely an investment you will enjoy.

My mother received a set of Magnalite pots from her mother when she married 52 years ago. When I married 32 years ago she bought me a set and a second set for herself! Everyone of these pots have stood the test of time with plenty of daily creole cooking! I've added another set to my collection when I visited Natchitoches, LA 5 yrs ago. I'm so happy to find them online. Now my daughter is getting married and I've carried on the tradition of the "wedding pots" They beat all those expensive fancy cookware, hands down!! It seems that these pots may outlive us! Bon Appetit!

Got my new set for Christmas. Read the instruction and pan treatment information. Treated my pans and started to cook. All of my pans have discolored intererior walls. Even from just boiling water in them. And the lids get discolored from the stem from cooking. Really wish they could stay the original color. I purchased them partially for their looks.

I got the 13-piece set for Christmas about 9 years ago. I love these pots. The keep their temperature and save time with cooking. The only thing that I do not like is that the cover knobs crack. I hand wash all my dishes and the pots have not been in the oven other than the roaster. I would like to find replacement knob for my set. Can anyone help me find them? The knobs do not stand up to the durability of the pots.

I inherited a set of Magnalite about 1970. The pots were already old and heavily crusted with burned on food. I ground that off with a bench grinder and I have been using these pots daily ever since. These pots will last longer than you will. They are light relative to steel pots, are heavier than the cheap aluminum pots, and have good even heating. I like the metal lids better than glass. The handles do not get hot on a stove top in my experience.

This second purchase of the 13 piece set, went to my step-daughter after she purchased her first home. I wanted to get her started right. This Magnalite cookware will last forever as I'm still using mine from decades ago. The only complaint I have is that the set raised in price $100.00 - that is expected after all this time, but the 7 quart pot that is usually included in the package was replaced by a 3 quart...not as useful in the kitchen!

I've used these pots for 20 ++ years & would not use anything else. They are great to cook in, but, the price is getting outrageous, my first set was less than $200 & we purchased a set for my daughter & they were right at $200, now these were almost $300.

I received my set of Magnalite cookware as a wedding gift way back in 1968, so I am a true testiment to it's quality. Other pots have come and gone but my Magnalite still looks almost new. There are NO sturdier pots on the market (they are almost as heavy as cast iron). The style has never changed over all these years. They heat quickly & evenly. I highly recommend this cookware after owning mine for 41 years!

You have got the best of both worlds at Walmart. Great products at less the cost of the other stores in any city of America. What a great way to help any family in America or around the world.
