The product doesn't heat up enough to shorten styling time. The brush does not spin as well as it does in the commercial. Takes way too much time and concentration to use, not a time saver. You are better off using a regular dryer and a round brush.

I have below shoulder length long layered hair. I bought this because I was tired of blow drying and then taking over 30 minutes to curl it with a curling iron. With so many layers to my hair it was almost impossible to get the curl I wanted with the curling iron. The layers kept falling out of the curling iron. This product made styling my hair much faster and made it look softer and less frizzy. The best part is it only now takes about 10 minutes! The product takes some getting used to but once you master it it's well worth it.

I have course, thick and curly hair. This styler/dryer work well for me. Wash and condition hair as usual. You need to wait a few moments until the hair is not as wet, just needs damp hair. Hair needs to be sectioned to work best. I know it sounds like a little bit of work but I no longer need to dry hair with one hair dryer and then style or straighten with another. Also this will straighten and smooth hair cuticle so the frizz is gone. Just do a section of hair starting at the bottom/root area and spin the brush as directed. This will put so much body into the hair by the scalp with makes the hair full and wavy. As I stated it take a little time (30 minutes from start to finish) but I feel my hair looks better and there is less damage being done.

I have really thick hair and this actually pulled some of my hair out when I used the spinner. For regular hair it might be ok. I have to return this. Only tried it once and that was enough.

It is a handful. The brush is big and the instrument is bulky. However - it took me all of a few minuets to grasp the dual button (for reversible rotation) functions and in short time my short hair was done to my satisfaction. I was shocked at the size and I could see where this might be a problem for some people.

Hard to get used to but worth it

I have very long and very thick hair. The first few times I used this product it hurt... Alot. My hair got tangled in the barrel and I must admit it pulled out quite a bit. It also took me about 2 hours to dry my hair. I figured it was user error and continued using it. By the third week of using it I no longer got my hair tangled, and it only took me about 45 minutes to dry my hair. Now I have had it for 4 months and I am still going strong. It no longer pulls my hair, I have learned to have my hair dryer before I being. Overall even with my pain in the butt hair it does everything it says it will and it does it easily. 20 minutes with this thing and my hair is exactly as advertised. :)
It does take some time and practice to get used to it though. I found out that youtubing how to videos for this product made all the difference. I was using it completely wrong at first.

Great product. Easy to use. A friend recommended it to me and it's great! Easy on the wrist, light-weight, dries well. Does not seem to get too hot to be dangerous.

Not good for all your hair. It takes practice to use it. Also, if climate conditions are dry, you might end with static hair.
I have very fine thin hair and needs to be almost dry before use this styler.

After all the great reviews, I decided to give this a try. I thought "now i am going to be able to do my hair faster after a shower". Unfortunately, It takes longer than using a regular blow dryer and it pulled my hair so bad, I ended up with a head ache. My hair kept getting stuck in the grooves where the bristles and the holder meet. I had to return it. I love the idea but I wish the product was better.

it is pretty descent only takes a few minutes to get the hang of it I hurt both my hands this past oct during the sandy storm and this makes it much easier for me to do my hair was having a hard time of it with a regular blow dryer so this thing came around just in time for me

i;m glad i got this. it was worth it. use regular blow dryer 2/3 way dry. then this. dont have to use 2 hands. makes hair shiney!!!! gives hair volume. use on hot, then switch to cold to lock in the curl

I was very excited when I brought this Rotating Spin Brush because overall the reviews were very positive but once I got it I was very disappointed. The picture for this brush makes it look much smaller than what it is. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who has short to medium length hair. The spin brush is very large and won't grip your hair correctly. This styler is advertised making your hair easier to style by not having to use a round brush while blow drying your hair but there's nothing easy about it especially if your not familiar with using a spin brush. I also tried this on my daughter's hair and it kept getting caught up and tangled in her hair. I eventually had to return it to Walmart.

A good hair styler

I enjoy using this rotating brush. I have no coordination of both hands handling a blow dryer and a round brush. I have frizzy hair. So my only solution was flat irons. I've been using flat irons for years. My hair is still healthy, thankfully. However, I notice a lot of static from using flat iron for long period of time. I tried using products to reduce static but my hair gets oily in result. And I don't want to carry a Bounce sheet in the purse (don't really want to smell like fabric softener).
This rotating brush is very easy to use. Temperature is just right. It doesn't get too hot as a flat iron. My hair is medium length. This brush is a little too big for the length of my hair. However, I prefer to use it in place of a hot flat iron. It lifts the roots of my hair so my hair looks fuller. The hair is bouncier. It gives me "I just had my hair done in the salon" look. And I get the same result every time. The cool setting helps to set the lift on roots. I tried it when my hair was 80% dried as suggested. I also tried on 100% dried hair. It was as easy to style when my hair was completely dry but I was certainly impressed that I was able to style my hair and got rid of the frizz without a flat iron. I wish it came in 1-1/2" and dual voltage though. I travel to Asia a lot. I have couple dual voltage flat iron. My dream will come true if Conair makes dual voltage rotating brush. I'll take 2" if they don't make 1-1/2".
Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. It comes with a 3-year warranty. We need to send $7 to mail back and have it fixed if there's a problem. I hope it will last for 3 year or longer.
