The Vizio 22" LED-LCD HDTV is an ultra-slim model with a 16:9 LED-backlit LCD panel. This Vizio 22" 1080p TV offers 1920 x 1080 full-HD resolution and 5-ms. response time. This wall-mountable digital TV also has a built-in digital tuner so you can conveniently tune in to watch digital broadcasts and HDTV programs. After much research, we bought a 42" 3-D Vizio on black Friday, though we didn't get it set up, till after the first of the year...liked it so much, that I got this one for the bedroom, then, in July, my brother and I got our mother a 42", which she loves. Do I recommend VIZIO? YOU BET I DO!!! Thanks Walmart for great prices!

Excellent picture & sound quality for the size. I use it as both a TV and PC monitor so I love all the features. The only reason I am not rating this product as excellent is because one of the HDMI ports does not always work - have to fuss with the cord quite a bit. Otherwise, very happy with this product.

stopped working after 4 months

I wanted a small tv for the kitchen, just to be used at breakfast. I was impressed when I first plugged it in and saw what a nice picture. Unfortunately, it has stopped working after a brief 4 months.... almost to the day. I bought on Feb 1 this year, and it stopped working this morning June 2. Visio is sending me a re-certified tv (whatever that is !). I was assured this was only overstocked items being returned from the store, but I doubt that this is true. The warranty for this is 90 days OR the remainder of your current warranty (which in my case is 8 mos), but NOT a full year warranty. I don't understand why this is true, since Visio is replacing with a brand new set (at least that is what I was told). I'll let you know how it goes with the replacement.

Easy Set up with stand. Great picture. Good sound from front. Easy connect DVD player which will play on any channel. Easy selection of DVD player and switch back to TV. Replaced old CRT TV. Main use by 12 yr daughter.

I was happy with the set for 5 months-now it won't power on. I have to go through the hassle & expense of mailing the TV to a repair center. I have a 32-inch & it's been great, but I'm not happy about this one.

I bought this as a replacement for my bedside TV and it is a major step up. I was able to pick up 42 more digital channels which added tremendous variety and depth to my viewing options. The picture is very good and the sound is great.

This is my second 22" Vizio TV/Monitor. I use it for both (simply choose the appropriate input using the remote) and am very pleased. The first one serves as my primary computer monitor and beats anything I've used in the past.

Had the best picture of all the display small TVs. Once home, audio and video great for 6 months and then...totally dead. This with nearly daily, but light, use. Could send back to Vizio for repair (customer service was actually very helpful), but this is a hassle. Maybe I just got a dud, but I would be wary of this make/model again.

Sound quality was my main concern due to previous ratings, and because it was for kitchen use and there was no room for audio components. Most of the smaller new LED's have speakers that face down or to the back; this unit's speakers face forward and are adequate for my kitchen. Also, in this price range it's hard to get 1080p. The picture and sound have been more than adequate for my purposes. Setup was a snap. The remote is intuitive and button placement is practical - including the MUTE button (the most important!) is right in the middle. By the way, there is a headphone jack for the primary purpose and will accept the add-on speakers that you use with your computer. I'm very pleased.

Great TV for the Price - No workin Component Video

I purchased my first E220VA from the Walmart web site and it installed easily and the picture and sound was great for an inexpensive small TV. Where I ran into trouble is when I connected my dvd player to the Vizio with a video component cable (red, blue green connectors) and found I could only display a black and white picture. I contacted Vizio and after exploring all options I was told my unit was defected. I returned it to Walmart for a refund and purchase the same model from Costco and installed it with the same result. I again contacted Vizio and they wanted to replace or repair this unit. I believe there is a design problem with this model. I do get color if I use the connection on the side of this unit with a red, white and yellow RCA connection to the dvd player. I'll live with this shortcoming since this is not a primary TV in the house.

I purchased this tv on Jan 18,2012. May 17,2012 it died no picture, no power. Contacted Vizio and now I have to send it to them, to California, at my cost. My last tv lasted me 30 years and in that 30 yrs had it repaired once. Obviously the poor foreign quality merchandise they sell these days isn't worth the money. I won't buy another foreign made product from Walmart or elsewhere. If it's not US made I'll go without it! I don't need it!

OK but very poor warranty

Good picture, same as my 26" Vizio. Sound is a little bit tinny and not much power to speakers. Sound OK for one smaller room. Remote control is archaecic, you have to enter channel number plus the - (dash) for sub channels. Remote is definitley not smart. Warranty, be careful. If you even scratch the separate base, you have modified the product and there is no warranty on the whole TV. The base is extremely flimsy and cheap. I "modified" the base because it would not attach to the TV. Talked with Vizio about a new base and they informed me I have no warranty whatsoever because I "modified" the poorly manufactured product to get it to work. They told me to take it to Walmart and get someone to put the base on it.

Nice TV for bedroom; a little smaller than I really wanted, but it works. The picture is clear and colors are very good. The sound is not high fidelity, but good enough for a small room and does not sound tinny or distorted.

I'm disappointed there wasn't a pop up or warning of some type to advise me to buy an HD cable along with the TV. Now that I've done that, I still need to get an adapter or something to hook it up to the DirecTV box for HD. :(
