Nice TV but Media Functions slow

First, this is a nice TV for the money.
BUT - When I go to my media server on the network the file browser is very slow and even after getting a movie started up, the 'hourglass" remains on the screen. It's not hard to ignore, but it really shouldn't be there.
I'll also note that I'm using wireless at this time and I'm using Nero as teh mdeia server as it came with an LG Blu-Ray player I recently purchased. I have not yet had a chance to try any other media servers.
I have not yet gotten to try the 3D feature on the TV either, but it's on my to-do list.
Other than that it's got a great picture and Netflix seems to work great! (Even on the Wireless, the signal is better than my laptop in the same room!)

This television really did more than live up to it's expectations. The extra features are great and really handy with the one touch buttons. Also I paired it with the Vizio 3D Blu-ray Player and the family now gathers in the living room to watch tv instead of everyone retreating to their room and watching different channels.

I bought this TV for my daughters bedroom it's the perfect size. Easy set up. Easy to download new apps. Picture quality is good. The sound is ok for the size of the TV. I bought it mainly for the apps. I haven't had a chance to veiw 3d yet. Great TV for the money.

I ordered this online & set it up. Great picture & awesome sound. The third time we turned this TV on, the picture would not come on. We called VIZIO, they kept trying to talk us into a repair. Then we had to give them a credit card so we could have them send out a new TV to cover the cost of the one we had not sent back yet, all sounded like a big hassle. Long story short, I did not give them my credit card, told them I'd call back later & took the TV back to WalMart for a refund. Went TV shopping again & noticed another VIZO with picture issues. We have a large screen VIZIO from when they first came out and it works great. I think they made the first TV's well but once they got popular & mass production took over they took shortcuts. Just my opinion. Bought an LG through WalMart.com. That makes 3 LG's in this house with no problems. Find your roots again VIZIO!

Great tv good price but other reviewers said that it had a keyboard on back of remote. Mine didn't. The remote wasn't mentioned in the item description but because of reviews I expected a better remote.

I bought this TV because my Entertainment Armoire will only hold up to a 32 inch TV, but this TV can do everything I need, watch blu-ray films in full HD, 3D films and streaming 3D HD films from Vudu, it has internet apps that I can listen to music from Pandora or TuneIn or watch streaming movies, or even surf the internet. It easily connects to my laptop through HDMI cable (side) to watch my video files. I like also that the passive 3d glasses are inexpensive, as opposed to the battery powered active ones. Was able to easily hook this up to my computer HiFi stereo speakers and subwoofer so I can also get great audio like the movies. Now if Time Warner were to offer more 3D programming that I would watch on this TV that would be great, and this is very affordable for all that is does.

This TV is about what you'd expect for the price and options. With the SMART TV options, nice easy to use Wi-Fi, and decent sound but good picture quality, this is a great TV for bedrooms and video game players alike. Couldn't be more pleased.

I am truly enjoying this television.I've had another Vizio TV for about five years now and it's still great, so I decided to purchase another one for my home. This TV has excellent features. The picture quality is great and the sound is really good for built in speakers. External speakers would make the sound quality better. I haven't had a chance to try the 3-D feature with the glasses, but the other features are great and I love having access to the Internet. I plan to purchase another TV in the near future for another room in the house and I plan to purchase another Vizio.

I was looking for a new tv for months to replace the 1980 55' big screen rear projection flat screen. I went to many stores, even rental places for rent to owns places and pawn shops. The picture finally went one night in the middle of a movie. people were purple and blues were just green. This tv is 3 times the tv that the other one was . takes up less room , uses less power , surround sound built in is just as good if not better then the surround sound stereo hooked up to the old one thru a Bose system. the wifi and all the apps are easy to use. the setup is easy had It done in under an hour from beginning to end including disconnecting everything from the old one. have had it for just under 3 weeks and WOW movies i seen multiple times never looked so good , and football is just awesome . colors i've never seen in 30 years . would buy it again many times over . would have liked it in led but will live with lcd . best Christmas i could have ever bought for the house and myself, everyone is happy with it . Netflix is awesome to watch with it and instant weather and facebook done thru the tv is great almost like another computer in the house.
