Putting it together was easier than I was expecting judging by the other reviewers. It's very tall, the drawers are huge, it's solid and heavy and looks much more expensive than it was. I'm very happy with this chest and the matching bed & nightstand I got as well.

Basic Chest of Drawers

This chest of drawers is very basic but it suits the purpose of having more space. Initially, I thought the drawers would be deeper but they seem shallow compared to other dressers I have had. It took me two hours to put it together with basic tools...screwdriver and hammer. I took the advice is another Reviewer and used Gorilla Glue hoping to breathe more longevity into the lifespan of the chest.

Very easy to assemble once I recieved the correct pieces. I recieved all right sides on the drawers. The correct ones arrived in less then a week after calling the company. I ordered 2 if these and put them together myself in less then2 hours. Not bad for a 50year old female

I have had this dresser for about 3 years now. It looked great when we got it. They are nice dressers but they wear out easily. After 3 years mine are starting to fall apart. They are good if you only plan on using them for a few years. The assembly was also difficult. It look my husband hours to install it.

this item took 2 days to put together the instreuctions were hard to follow. had to buy a glue gun to keep together. everything that comes with this item either didnt fit or the holes werent allighned correctly. this was a nightmare. i finally had a pro put it together and as soon as i put clothing in, it fell apart everyday more and pieces are falling apart i beg you please do not get this item you will be disappointed.

The assembly of this set is rather easy. The intructions has picture diagrams and the pieces are labeled. It may have been a bit easier if the instructions had words in addition to the diagrams. Once together it looks amazing and is sturdy. It took about 2 and a half to 3 hours for me to assemble this piece because I had to drill extra holes because they holes were placed in the wrong positions. other than that little snaffu I had no problems at all. I love my set!

YOU GET AN ENTIRE QUEEN BEDROOM SET FOR $485+TAX WITH THIS BRAND. I'M 5FT.5IN. TALL AND I WAS ABLE TO PUT TOGETHER THE CHEST AND THE NIGHTSTAND BY MYSELF. THE BED WILL DEFINITELY NEED TWO PEOPLE FOR OUTSTANDING CRAFTSMANSHIP RESULTS. THE INSTRUCTIONS COULDN'T BE ANY SIMPLER! IT IS IN MY HONEST OPINION, THAT THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON THIS PRODUCT ARE 99% THE CONSUMER'S FAULT! I was expecting cheap particle board, but it was way worse. It was loosely pressed press board. if you didn't pound in the wood dowels far enough, the sides crumbled. If you try to move it, it crumbles and breaks. It looks like cheap dorm room furniture from Florida! I was going to buy the better quality dresser from the store, that were actually built out of better materials and cost less, but they didn't match, and I needed two. I wish that I could return them both, but I already assembled them both, and the sides and bottoms are broken. Don't buy them until you see them in person, even then, don't waste your money!

If you have this shipped to the store you will NEED an additional person to help you load this into a TRUCK. HIGHLY recommend using wood glue (it comes with some, but it doesn't hold up well enough, its more like Elmore's glue) when putting any piece into another, if you don't it can be flimsy. I built this with my boyfriend and it took about an hour after laying out all the pieces and gluing the pre-assimbly pieces together. It is a nice dresser for the cost but the drawer runners are some what hard to pull in and out. I have to tug on them and smack them back into the frame every time. Might suggest purchasing different runners if this is going to be a problem for you. Overall good buy for the money and look.

I got this dresser, night stand.,chest dresser as a sets....I like the finished look.
I ordered them as a sets but Fedex delivered me each items everyday..(which is I hate,wished it delivered everything on the same day) It was pretty easy to putting it together night stand but dresser and chest dresser was a hard to put them together just myself,because it is a heavy.....Dresser and chest dresser tooks me 3hours to put them together. also it is better to glue them cause might wasy to fall the parts...
but if you follow the directions,no problem to put it together.

This is an easy piece to put together. I assembled it in about 45 minutes. It is sturdy. I wasn't impressed that the screws were out of the small packaging when the box arrived, but luckily they were all in the box. I would recommend this dresser to someone needing something cheap and quick to put together.

2 pieces i had to measure and countersink holes in. the holes where supposed to be there ALREADY.....drill bit poked through front of piece and now you can see a hole. i put in on the bottom where barely noticable...but still cmonnnnn a little quality control when making these products would go a long way.
