I've use Frontline or Advantage (if the groomer was out of one I bought the other) for years on my dogs and cats, never having any fleas. I switched to PetArmor thinking I was going to save money and also after reading good reviews on this product. The product seemed to work for the first 5-6 months but now all four animals are itching and so are we!! We have fleas in the house, yard, car etc. I'm switching back TODAY. I will never buy this product again and the money saved will be spent at the groomer and to get my home bombed and an allergist for my elderly father, as he broke out due to being bitten by the flea.

I used this product for 3 months and everything seemed okay. I used frontline 3 years before I use this product. My dog would get one or two fleas on him but within 24 hours the fleas was gone. Now using Pet Armor for the 4th time he had a couple of fleas on him and let me tell you for two weeks after application those fleas was walking around like my dog had no protection. I bath him a week after I put the medication on him and within 24 hours the fleas was back and they were back because those fleas had laid some eggs. Let me tell you I started vacuuming and mopping like crazy thank goodness me and my hubby did not get any flea bites. He would have been livid.
I put the Frontline two weeks after I used the Pet Armor. If I could have done it sooner I would have. I just could not wait another week. I pray that I did not over medicate him but I just could not take the chance for flea infestation. I did read on Frontline site that I could.
Needless to say I ordered frontline from Walmart and got it in a very timely manner. I did return the Pet Armor back to Walmart with the receipt and they return my money. One service person said that I could not get my money back then I said then they should have a sign saying that. So the supervisor said give it to her since she have her receipt.
I will never buy this product again. Also they are in a law suit with front line and they can not sell it right now. That is why Walmart is running out. Whatever they have on the shelves that is what is left of it. Thank Goodness. Just remember cheap is not always better but it can be better for the fleas.

I applied Pet Armor to my beagle over two weeks ago and he's still invested with fleas worse than ever. This product does not work. I am going back to Frontline which always worked on my dog.

I faithfully have used Frontline Plus in the past until I heard how Pet Armor had the same ingrediants and was cheaper. So I tried it and it worked with the first dosage. A month later I applied again and found out it did not work at all!! My dogs have been itching continuosly day and night like I did not even apply anything to them. I use flea comb on them everyday and try to rid them of the fleas. I will not waste my money again on this product!! I am going to try Dawn dishsoap!

So maybe me and the others who gave bad reviews got a bad batch or something, who knows, but I'm telling you it does not work. My dogs never get fleas. I give them a dose of Frontline in the early spring, mid summer, and late fall. I saturate my back yard with bug killer granules and spray. It was time for the mid summer dose so I thought I'd give Pet Armor a try because 'it works just like Frontline for less money'. Several days after their dose they started scratching. I noticed one or two fleas on them and gave them a flea bath. Two weeks later I still noticed fleas and scratching. I bathed them again and bombed the house. I patiently waited nearly four weeks until they could handle another dose and bought Frontline from the vet. I'm so sorry dogs! I swear on the Bible that within eight hours of applying Frontline they have stopped scratching themselves.
The tubes of Pet Armor have about three times more solution than Frontline and it is more watery. It is not the same, does not work the same and for the cost, I'd rather pay 15$ a tube for the good stuff than 10$ a tube for something that might work and might not.

Why is the price for small dogs same as large?

I bought the 3 vials for small dogs, but it has half the medication of the large dog size. Next time I may buy the large dog size and only use half. The only drawback I can think of is what to store the unused medicine in.

I have always used Frontline on my 2 older Chihuahua's. When I noticed PetArmor Plus through Walmart I was Extatic! With in a week after having applied this to my babies they had fleas. At first I thought maybe they had just picked up one or two somehow out of the yard but three weeks later they STILL have fleas!!! I DO read the active ingredients on Generic Brands when I buy them and thought for sure I could not go wrong with this product. Boy was I DISAPPOINTED!! I will NEVER use this product again, its a waste of money!! Ive now had to spend the 28$ for the PetArmor AND now Ive had to re-buy their regular Meds at 50$!! YOU do the math! SAVE your money DO NOT buy this product!

I thought this would be a great product to buy as it is supposed to compare to Frontline. Boy was I wrong. Two days after applying the product my little dog had more fleas than she started with. If I didn't know any better I would say this attracted the fleas more than it repelled them. She is completely polluted with fleas. I've given her two baths and she still has them. Definitely going to try Frontline or maybe K9 Advantage.

I was using a flea collar on my two dogs that did not work. They itched and scratched all the time and I even noticed a flea or two. So I switched to PetArmor Plus and it works great! No more scratching and no more fleas. I would recommend this to everyone. I will not use anything else now, and it helps that is so affordable.

i am very dissatisfied with this product, it works just as well as my shampoo, which does not work for fleas. i have used the whole 3 month supply split between two dogs, 45-88 lbs so it is all gone. my dogs are still covered with fleas not to mention what has happened in my house. i was very hopeful that the petarmor would work just as good as frontline, because it is less expensive. i am on a fixed income so every dollar i spend i must be thrifty. i purchased this product at your national city store @1200 highland ave. i can not find my reciept. i only thing i have left is the empty box with one empty tube. i can not waste my money like this. i would like a refund or store credit, how do i go about it? sincerely, a long time walmart customer.

Didn't even notice a difference. Don't waste your money on this. You're better off getting frontline than this. I spent $28 on it then had to go spend $60 on something that works. Big expectations and promises. Now I have to wait 30 days to apply a good product. Thanks walmart.

Was kind of skeptical that it would be as good as frontline plus for the price, but it proves to be a great/cheaper alternative! Love it, keeps everything off my dog and the price is great! Definitely will buy more when we run out!
