I was very pleased with the quality of this inexpensive kit, especially considering I got it basically half price as a bonus with another purchase. It was missing one jig it shows in the picture on the box, but didn't see it as enough to return. The only thing that didn't meet my expectation was the description for the backpack. It's not a back pack, it's an over the shoulder pouch that just folds and velcros shut. It gives the impression of a zip back pack or something. Love being able to carry this outside though hands free to do some light fishing off the dock or something. I also wished the line was a heavier weight as well. Had some problems with the line easily coming unraveled off the spool and major tangles. Other than that, it's great for light fishing on the go.

I was worried it might be a bit cheesy and would have to be taken back but my husband loves it and cannot wait to try it out!! The rod feels good, the reel is nicely put together, the tackle that comes with it is good for a starter pack... Definitely for beginners though!

This fishing pole is just perfect for our grandson to take when he goes camping with the Boy Scouts. It fits perfectly into his pack and has all that he needs for a fun day of fishing
