Great Job Walmart and Quality Product

I ordered this TV/DVD combination for my elderly parents who had never had an HDTV before. When their "air" antenna analog to digital box conked out, so did the old Sony TV to their bedroom. We did the comparison of models available on the Walmart site, and they decided on the RCA combo, because my dad didn't want another remote to contend with and partly because free shipping to home was offered. This TV was ordered and paid for on-line on 8/9/11, and arrived at my parents' door within 24 hours (using FedEx). Frankly, I am amazed at the efficiency of Walmart and FedEx.
I simply unhooked the 24 inch Sony and moved it. Unpacked the 32 inch RCA, inserted the batteries into the remote, attached the stand and set it on the TV stand. I connected the power cord and the coax, hit power and it scanned the analog and digital channels avaialable and set up took 10 minutes at most.
It has a beautiful picture, great sound, and watching a DVD, we are really impressed. Although the installation was simple, given the basic coax, rear inputs and outputs on the rear of the unit is more than adequate for the future. Maybe I will get around to reading the manual later.

We love this T.V. The best part is the dvd player that comes with the T.V. THe only thing that I dislike is that for some reason it won't let me sync my directive remote to the tv (very minor problem)

Great product for great price. Was kinda skeptical due to several negative reviews but went ahead and purchased anyway and it has been great. We use it daily in our workout room and we have not had any problems with the tv or the DVD player.

I bought this tv for my 3 yr old bedroom and hung it up with a 10$ tv mount and it looks amazing. I was looking for the tv combo because her room is very small and did not want to worry about the dvd player. Everything works awesome it has great sound and great picture quality. You cannot go wrong with this tv I definitely recommend it. Besides the price its great! ;)

I got this for my office area which is quite spacious and serves as my exercise room as well. I wanted a TV with a DVD player so I could do my exercise videos. Since I was mounting the TV on the wall, I didn't want cords, etc. junking up the area from a separate DVD player. I was a bit hesitant about the DVD player itself because I had read several reviews where that aspect of the unit didn't work too well almost right off the bat. I've had this for about 2.5 months and use it regularly and it's been great. The volume was another complaint I had read but I don't have a problem with that either. The whole thing is easy to figure out with setup and menu functions, etc. Would definitely recommend!

This TV DVD combo was a good buy for the money I purchased it for. It has modest speaker sound and it 720P picture is a little better than my 56 inch DLP TV. I wish RCA on the other hand would have made this a 1080P TV and would have build in up scaling into the DVD Player so you can watch higher than 480P resolution with DVDs. Other than that I paid 259.99 for the TV so it was a great buy most TV's of this size and with DVD players in them are about 100 more.

i bought this t.v two times in 10 days and i have to bring it back again because the built in dvd is broken. that will make it being returned for the third time. the first t.v didnt work at all and the second time i bought it was damaged then the third time the dvd broke. i think the t.v is all together a piece of junk. i wouldnt advise anybody to go out and get this t.v. they should take it off the market !!!!!

I bought this TV because it had a DV player. It was easy to set up. The picture and the sound was great. The only problem was that it did not eject my DV. If you do not want to use the DV player this would be a great buy. I am taking it back to the store.

Ordered this for my mother, age 85, in January, 2012. She does not have cable or satalite. It was easy to setup (very light weight). Mother cannot see very well and gets confused easily. The remote control is hard for her to use. I put liquid white out on the basic buttons she would need to use. The usage of the features is a bit confusing until you get used to it. Seems like they really could have made it much easier. Good picture and sound. She wanted the built in dvd, but she can't use it by herself. It is too confusing to stop, restart the disc and she has a problem remember the steps to return to tv programing.

Surprise - the DVD player doesn't work

We have always purchased RCA brand electronics and have been happy with the quality. Not this time! We purchased this tv for our daughter's birthday. My husband hooked it up with no problems, and she started watching right away. We put in a dvd for her, and it turned off about 20 minutes into it. I thought the disc might be scratched, so we put a brand new movie in. Didn't get 5 minutes into this movie and it locked up again. We almost didn't get the disc out of the player. My husband it electronically inclined, and did the best he could to identify the problem. No dice. We will be returning this tv and will probably never buy another tv through site to store again. We will have to see how the return process goes.

My VHS/DVD combo was broken, and I was still using an old console TV (worked fine!), so I decided to upgrade to this TV/DVD combo. I don't watch regular TV, so the DVD player gets a lot of use. My only complaint is that if I stop in the middle of the movie (to go to bed), and come back the next day, it doesn't pick up where it left off. (unless there is something I need to program). But overall, I love the picture and sound quality of this TV, and would recommend it to others.

I've had the tv for 4mo already and i must say that it serves it purpose of providing television but lacks picture quality and sound. I have to turn up the volume to the highest level to get decent sound which is super annoying. The dvd player is excellent and very convenient, no complaints there. Overall you get what you pay for, which is a functioning tv with poor quality.
