The Panasonic Dect 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone System has an answering system and four handsets. The DECT 6.0 PLUS technology means increasing the frequency of error correction up to 80 times, improving the transmission quality and range. A powerful battery back-up system keeps you connected when the power goes out so you can make and receive calls with the cordless handset. You can even set this 4 handset cordless phone in silent mode when you are going to sleep. It comes with a non-slip design that is very comfortable to hold. The Intelligent Eco Mode automatically lowers the power consumption when you are using the handset close to the base unit. You can also activate the speaker phone mode and keep talking at times when your hands are occupied. The Range Boost technology extends transmission range by up to 20-percent so you can keep talking as you keep walking.

I like this Panasonic phone. Learning to use all the features is not easy, but that may be because I'm not a "high tech" person. One good point is it uses AAA rechargeable batteries.....I can find replacement batteries locally instead of having to order them over the internet. I would recommend this phone to my friends.

All the previous positive comments listed herein are all true. This is an excellent phone system for the house with many outstanding features that are easy to use. My favorite is the Talking Caller ID. Other niceties for seniors are large numbered keys, large display with large letters and of course the already mentioned, how easy it is to use all of these features.

We had the older version of these phones and decided to update them after five years of heavy use and MANY drops...... Three of the old phones still work, but don't look as good as they did. When deciding to make a new purchase we agreed to stay with Panasonic because of the excellent service we received from the old phones. All the options and features on these phone are similar to the last, so we didn't have to go through an intensive learning process - which is a big plus. The new phones work better than the last set, they also look nicer and have an even longer range. Overall we are very pleased and will continue to purchase Panasonic products for all our future electronic needs. The Walmart price was $16.00 cheaper than the next competitor and we received them very quickly.

I love my new phone system, easy to set up & program.
Sound is incredible. This replaced my old Panasonic system, I had used for about 7 years, it still worked, but I wanted all the new features that are available today.
I have a 3 story condo with an extension on every floor...........and it's amazing how great it works.

Nice features, clear sound, easy to use and easy to program. You can't understand the talking caller ID.
Has it's own blocklist and if there's a power outage, the phone will power the base. You can name each handset so you know what room they are in and the intercom is a nice feature.

Was very easy to set up. It has great range and the batteries last a long time in between charges. This was a great value. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because I would like to be able to increase the volume more. I'm not sure if others would feel the same - might just be me and my hearing.

The phones were easily unpacked and set up. Instructions were easy to follow as to charging the phones and initial set up. They work very good outside and I do not have a range extender. Very pleased with the quality and features.

I like the weight of the handsets, their lightup feature, and ease of setup and operation. In addition, the clarity of the numbers on the keypads and of the information on the screens located on the base and handsets are a big plus. This phone system fits our family perfectly.
