The size is prefect and don't take so much space. The look is very classic and has a draw with large size and shelf is good size too. The top has enough space for lamp, alarm clock and few accessories as well.

Can't speak to the actual finished appearance or value, but I was a little rushed for time; so, when I opened the box, read the instructions, and saw how many pieces had to be assembled, I felt totally disinclined. I really didn't want to spend hours figuring out and assembling a puzzle or kit.
In another setting, I might have enjoyed the challenge of assembling the pieces, but it wasn't what I was looking for now. I ended up getting an other second-hand piece that was already assembled, even though it wasn't quite as nice looking as this one.

Had been looking for end tables for our family room. Saw multiple $250 tables at furniture stores, but could not find anything we really liked for that price. We saw these tables at our local store and could not believe how nice these tables looked for the price. Brought them home, put them together (which was not hard) and they look great! Honestly look better than most of the $250 tables we saw in furniture stores.

Got the coffee table a few months ago and just got these to match. So glad they didn't stop carrying them (that happens to me ALOT)! Really ties the room together and they are made well. I haven't been disappointed with a BH&G product yet. :)

Picked this up randomly at Walmart today, since I loathe how low to the ground my ikea side tables are. I was nervous it was going to flimsy, look cheap and be a waste of money. Man was I wrong! Took my husband about 45 minutes to put it all together and it looks GREAT. All the little details make it look really nice and it's VERY sturdy! The top shelf is perfect for me to store my laptop and it even has a cutout in the back for my laptop charger to go through. The best part is it's the perfect height! Sooooooo happy with this decision!

Picture was a good representation of the color and what the table would look like once assembled. When I got it put together, it was a bit wobbly and some pieces didn't fit just perfectly, but what should one expect when buying pre-cut wood pieces? It serves a good purpose and also matches my bedroom furniture pretty much spot on. It is a nice addition to my bedroom, as I am just using it temporarily.

The nightstand looks great that is after you get through the headache of actually putting it together. Had i seen the instruction manual and the many parts needed to put it together i might've reconsidered this purchase. But once it was finally done i will say that it looks very nice and went great with the other furniture in the room.

This nightstand look good and it look like it cost more than $60.00. The only problem is if you nail the nail to hard where it look like post on both side it will crack. One of the post crack, but it look like it will hold up. You can't see the crack and it still look nice.

My wife and I got new living room furniture. We decided to pick up two of these as end tables. We were so excited, until we had to put the first one together. The finish was worn on most edges, like it was a bad paint job. Nothing was in the box to separate pieces to prevent scratching. The locking pins are different. Pieces actually do NOT line up. I was surprised. You had to put some brace pieces on after it was half built in a tight space. Just a sloppy piece. I am sure it looks great in the store, but was horrible trying to get it together. You also know, even after using touch up, worn edges just come back and never look good. This was taken apart, put back in the box and both went back to the store.

Very nice item. Rather heavy which indicates that it is not made of cheap lightweight materials. Very nice finish and easy to assemble. I purchased the 3-shelf bookcase in 2011 for a twin bedroom set and was very happy to see that there were matching night stands as well as several other matching pieces enough to furnish a complete room. This line is very much worth it.

I bought two of these to use for night stands. The directions were easy to follow. I put them together while watching TV so I can't say the exact amount of time it took to complete each but I'd guestimate a full hour or a bit more.
They look really nice put together. My only issue (and it's not an issue specifically with these) is I bought them to match a cherry headboard (not BHG) which is cherry. The two woods don't match :o(

Solid pieces, easy to assemble, took about an hour, looks fantastic when done. The color is a true cherry, not that annoying immitation red you normally get at this price point and does not look at all like "build-it yourself" furniture. I love them. Using them as end tables, but would also be perfect as night stands. The backing has a round cut out for cords which was a very nice bonus. Picked mine up site to store, will fit in small car. piece is solid and heavy. Very impressed with this line. I ordered 2 of these, the book shelves and the dining table, chairs and bench and all are beautiful!

Purchased this product from my local Walmart on 12/31 and put it together by myself on 1/02. Everything was packaged great with no scratches or broken parts. All parts were labeled except 2-3 and they were not hard to figure out where they went. All screws, nails, etc. were packaged separately and labeled. Instructions were well-written and easy to follow. Assembly took about 2 hours because I kept losing my glasses to read the instructions! Instructions say not to use electric screwdriver/drill but there are four long screws to put in and I don't have the hand strength at 61 that I used to have so I did use the electric screwdriver on some of the screws. Love the night stand and how it looks completed. Very sturdy and heavy. The only thing is that the color is a darker cherry than pictured but that is not a problem for me. I actually prefer it.

Wasn't sure how to rate this end table/night stand. It was a bear to put together without a
battery-operated screwdriver! Most of the pieces had pre-drilled holes, so they weren't the
problem, but those that weren't were very difficult to get those screws into that hard wood.
