The Boss Audio 612UA - MP3 Compatible Solid State Receiver, AM/FM Receiver, USB/SD can play MP3 tracks from other media players and iPods. The device comes with an SD memory card port for storing media files conveniently. You can also play files from other media devices with a USB port and a front-panel AUX input. Furthermore, the unit features a PLL-synthesized tuner with 30 preset stations. The control panel on the Boss 612UA MP3 player features an active black mask display with backlit control buttons for easy operation. With the ID3-Tag display, you can identify the title, track number, artist, and genre of audio files. The balance and fader controls, along with separate bass and treble settings, let you enjoy great digital music. This digital media AM/FM receiver features a quartz digital clock as well. The Boss Audio 612UA - MP3 Compatible Solid State Receiver, AM/FM Receiver, USB/SD supports iPod A and other MP3 devices. There is no CD player available.

I bought this to update to no cd. It has a SD card slot plus a USB port. The receiver picks up FM as good as any and the SD card and USB works perfect. There are no moving parts so my playlist never skips like a cd. So far so good.

I'm used to high end Sony stereos so going to this on a budget took some getting used to. It has ok sound, I really like the blue display. It has a picture of a volkswagen Beatle on the LCD which is weird. It doesn't have a remote out wire for an amp. It's a good stereo for the price but if you want good sound don't go cheap. It just does the basics. I had no volume problems like others had stated.

I bought this radio to put in my bronco. Wanted an inexpensive radio without lots of bells and whistles. Recommend getting the install adaptor and also the color coded wires for the speakers. Easy to follow instructions. Good value for the price.

This is a great receiver for the price. No CD's to store, with USB, SD, and Aux connections. Easy install. Recommend you buy the kit to connect to your existing vehicle wiring system, makes it a snap.

the led light for the screen was a bit dull. the fit for my dash kit was rough. but the main concern was that, the ship date took forever. waited almost a month for it to come in. if it were to come to my home personally, i would understand the wait. but it was a store shipment and took far too long.

It is a very good value radio, for not having a CD player. One thing I was looking for is the clock doesn't display unless you hold the button. It goes away and shows the radio station or alternate device ie aux or USB. Overall the radio is easy to operate and install. Very happy with it

INSTALLED RADIO AND THE CLOCK WOULD NOT KEEP TIME. ALSO WOULD NOT DISPLAY WHEN THE RADIO WAS TURNED OFF AND CAR RUNNING. I CONTATED THE BOSS TECH SUPPORT AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE RADIO WASN'T WIRED PROPERLY AND TO REVERSE THE YELLOW AND RED WIRES. I WASN'T HAPPY.

straight forward reciever. no detachable faceplate - great! easy to install, although mounting holes would not align with original brackets of my 95 corolla. not a problem, just a little more time. sound is good for that car. If it holds up, it will be a great buy.

It's a plus for the money. I wish it had the option of attenuating the volume levels from the external sources to match the radio volume level. Another feature that needs improvement is the EQ. The choices are fine but again, there is a significant reduction in decibels when you use any of them. I suppose a small amp with EQ would benefit a complete package so I don't use any EQ and make my own adjustments. Other than that it's a great piece of equipment and recommended. I bought another for the boat so those missing features are tolerable.

i received my radio in a timely manner. i wired it in this weekend and the am fm functions worked,the selector dial lit up but unfortunately nothing appeared on the screen.i took it back to walmart today for a refund.you would think that when a working man spends 40 bucks on a brand name radio it would have some sort of quality control.i was most disappointed.It ruined my weekend!

Aside from being a tad confusing to program and lack of documentation, this radio is a decent replacement for stock radios. The mounting bracket and wiring labels were excellent. Playing from USB or memory card work well, and I consider it overall a great value.
A good option to some of the expensive units, I would definitely recommend it!

Its a nice radio, but was a pain to install. The brackets I bought didn't really fit too well with it, but thats because theyre cheaply made. It sounds good though, but nothing too flashy. good price for it.

Its an inexpensive car radio. Easy to install by connecting new wires to wires left when old radio was removed. Plays music / talk radio - it does what a radio is susposed to do what else can I say?
