It does what I expected, ice cubes, shakes, smoothies, etc. The vase is heavy and the glass seems thick enough. The appearance of the bottom part could be better, but I guess it is due to the price. I will still buy it again. I have a friend who owns one for over a year and it is still working fine.

Purchase item twice because the first blender motor quit working when I had frozen fruit blending. The second one did the same thing. So return and will now have to spend a little bit more money on a durable product that will last longer than 2 weeks.

It is a powerful blender fore the money. Has no problem blending frozen or fresh fruit, greens, or ice. There is an apparent design flaw, as the motor is not secured within the base and rattles around. This leads to an incredibly loud blending experience. This also gives me doubt as to how long the blender will last.

I will say for the price of this little gadget it's wonderful! I was worried about it's ability to crush ice good, no need to worry about that. I dropped in almost 2 cups of ice cubes (big clunky ones from an ice tray) and it crushed them up just fine using the Crush button on high. Made a wonderful strawberry banana smoothie with no ice clumps or anything in it. I am very satisfied with this blender!

This is a very good, traditional blender. The rubber feet on mine weren't level so it rocked. I tried in vain to adjust the feet then decided to return it. I used it a couple times beforehand and it performed well. All those little buttons and switching from high to low power does get tedious however. I upgraded to the more powerful, two-speed Beehive. Wrong. I discovered I needed more than two speeds in order to keep the contents moving up and down. For example, you may need to whip after you chop or grind. Otherwise you find yourself trying to use a spoon while blending-which is very dangerous. Now I'm going to try the HB Smoothie Blender, just ten dollars more than this one.

The blender seems to be pretty standard so far. I have only used it for smoothies and it seems to work pretty well. It is definitely very loud when in use but I think that is pretty standard for a blender. It is easy to clean (love that you can put it in a dishwasher!). I would recommend this especially for the price for someone who wants a standard blender.

This is all just cheap plastic. It takes for ever to blend something and if you have it running for longer than two minutes, it starts smelling like burnt rubber. Spend your money on a better blender.

I truly love blending to make smoothies instead the juicer. I enjoy knowing that I am drinking everything. I was excited to get my blender and I have not been disappointed yet. The blender has many different settings that honestly do what you want it to do...It shreds my carrots, bananas etc and doesn't burn out. I have had blenders that could not take the regular use and they burned out. I use my blender everyday and I am very happy with it...If anything was to change I will definitely let you know but in the meantime. I am happy be careful cleaning the blades on this thing..shaaarp!

I was pleasantly surprised when I put my nuts ( almonds, walnuts and sunflower seeds )in this blender to make nutelle and was rewarded with a smooth creamy mixture. I also make smoothies with frozen fruit in this blender. It is worth the price paid. I had bought a more expensive appliance that did not do a good job of grinding and I had to return it. This is my replacement. Thank you Walmart. I will recommend to friends.

I purchased this blender after reading other reviews, and unfortunately my review is not going to be so good. My problem is not with the motor but with the DESIGN. The pitcher is small at the bottom and large at the top, so it only blends the contents in the bottom. It will not pull down the contents in the upper half of the pitcher. I have to stop the motor and push the contents to the bottom. I never had this problem with my previous blender (Waring - which lasted 40 yrs!) The pitcher was the same size from top to bottom and pulled the top contents down immediately and blended them beautifully. I'm so unhappy with this blender that I want to take it back, but it seems that only expensive professional ones are built as they should be. So I guess I'm stuck.
