I love this vacuum, It doesnt lose its suction, the canister could hold a little more, but other than that the hose never clogs (I always had a problem with all my vacuums clogging at the bottom where the dirt first goes in, pet hair & small particles) I dont have that problem with this vacuum. I really like that the filters can be washed and reused. The hose reaches a long distance, and the suction power of this vacuum is great!!!!!

This model has so much suction that it is almost impossible to use on both wall-to-wall carpets and area rugs. And there is NO WAY to ADJUST THE SUCTION. I called the manufacturer and they admitted that unlike some of their models, this one does NOT HAVE A SUCTION ADJUSTMENT. So, unless you intend to spend the next few years playing tug-of-war with your vacuum cleaner, I strongly advise that you NOT purchase any Shark product that doesn't clearly say it has a way to adjust the suction. I'm taking mine back to Walmart...tomorrow!!

I just moved to a new place, and somehow we lost a part that belonged to my $400 Dyson. (I was not devastated, as I always found the Dyson bulky and awkward to use.)
I did some research, and purchased the Shark Navigator NV22L at my local Walmart store because it got such great reviews and was a price worth trying.
Although our carpets appeared to have been vacuumed prior to our moving in, our Navigator was 3/4 full after the first use on just the carpeted stairs and basement room. (This is NOT a tiny chamber.) We emptied it, and after using on my master bedroom and small hallway, it became totally full. SO EASY TO EMPTY, light and easy to use, even on stairs. We do have a beagle mix and I will be using it on the furniture soon. Attachments are easy to use, as well.
If I have any issues after using it longer term, I will update this review, but so far I could not be more pleased with my purchase.

After purchasing several cheaper vacuums with little to no success, I finally caved in and bought the Shark Navigator. I'm in love. I have old hardwood floors, rugs, and vinyl flooring. The Shark vacuums everything with one quick roll over the surface. Did I mention I have 2 big dogs and live in a rainy state? Which basically means hair and dirt/mud are a constant. I got tired of my 8 month old's belly looking like a mop head, so I broke down and purchased something more expensive. Seriously, a Shark is the way to go. I'll be purchasing the steam mop next!

I have had many vacuum cleaners over the years, including an expensive Electrolux. This "Shark Navigator" is the best! It's easy to pop together when purchased, easy to use, no maintenance, no bags or belts to replace, easy to empty and very light. Best of all, it is very powerful and does an excellent job on both hard floors and carpets! I truly love it and recommend it to all my friends.

I bought this vacuum a few weeks ago and LOVE the suction. My carpets look so much cleaner than they used to..It is light weight and easy to maneuver. The dust cup is very small so be prepared to empty it frequently. I think it leaks some dust as every time I vacuum I end up coughing. That hasn't every happened with any of the other vacuums I have used so far. All in all, I give it 4 stars because it does a great job at cleaning wood floors and carpets.

Great vacuum cleaner! Lightweight, easy to use. Love the attachable pet hair power brush. It works great! We have 8 cats, so we needed a vacuum that would do a good job cleaning pet hair off the furniture. The only small complaint we have is the super stretch vacuum hose is a little difficult to maneuver. It doesn't seem to want to stretch as far as the product description says it will (12ft). Other than that, we are very happy with our purchase.

I found the suction on carpets to be awesome - but you can't change the height of the vacuum, so it gets bound up on certain rugs.
Also, it did NOT pick up cat litter on hardwood floors - as I have cats, that and the lack of height adjustment led me to return it.

I have had this vacuum for about 3 years now. Have had no trouble whatsoever. It does a very good job, the cannisters are easy to empty and is lightweight. The only downfall is that it is hard to use the attachments as the vacuum tends to fall over. When and if this vacuum bites the dust, I hope I can purchase another Shark!

After two weeks, I've used it 4-5 times and it's a pleasure to use. It picked up dirt that was left in my carpet from an older vacuum. It's fairly quiet for such a powerful machine and it's easy to move around or carry with one hand for the average person. The cup empties easily, although if it's full, I take the cup and a garbage bag to the garage or outside, especially since I have allergies.
The brush does a good job of fluffing the carpet and getting the dirt buried in there. My 20 year-old carpet looks almost new again. The controls are pretty easy to operate. If you follow the instructions, it should assemble pretty quickly, no more than 30 minutes.

My house is only 3 yrs old and already my carpets were looking worn and matted up. I purchased this vacuum and was amazed at how it brought my carpets back to life! They look brand new again and I just couldn't wait to vacuum again. The container is pretty small and both times I have vacuumed the whole house I have filled it up. I suspect that this won't happen every time but there must have been a lot of dirt built up...yuck!

This small, lightweight vacuum picks up more dog hair than all of the big vacuums previously owned. Gets into tight spaces without marking up the baseboards. An outstanding price performer as well.

Love this shark! Easy to empty dustbin and no bags to buy. Fits in places my old machine did not. Light weight saves on back pain. Great suction, first time I used it, I filled the dustbin in 5 minutes on a carpet that had just been vaccuumed 2 days before (And I live alone with my little peekapoo)! Really great at picking up the dog hair. Love the "push button" option to turn off the spin brush and go from carpet to hardwood. Great machine!
