Bring warmth and style to your room with the Eclipse Samara Blackout Energy-Efficient Curtain. The blackout window panel completely blocks out all light in a room when closed. Review 5 for Eclipse Samara Blackout Energy-Efficient Curtain
Fell apart in the wash!

I have never purchased a worse product! It completely fell apart in the wash. The lining stuck to itself. Pieces of the lining flaked off and stuck to my washing machine. Absolutely worthless! You're better off buying regular lined curtains. Yes, they're double the price but at least they last!

Review 6 for Eclipse Samara Blackout Energy-Efficient Curtain
I bought these curtains to help cover my washer & dryer area. They look nice, they are a bit darker than in the pictures (I can't remember the name of the color but in the picture they looked like a very light tan or taupe, in person they are a definite deeper tan color). They do help with the noise a little bit, I wasn't expecting much there anyway. Pretty good value for the money.

I should've read the other reviews

Next time I will read more than just the good reviews of a product. After purchasing I read the not so good reviews and saw the same issues that I had with these curtains. First of all they have a strange odor. Another reviewer posted a way to get rid of the smell but I don't think you should have to do that when buying something brand new. Second of all, they do not block 99% of light. More like 75%. The curtains I had before these blocked 100% of light and were purchased at Linens and Things. I will go back there. Also I ordered the Latte color and I was sent the Toffee. Another reviewer said the exact same thing. I would not recommend these at all.

Review 9 for Eclipse Samara Blackout Energy-Efficient Curtain
I have a wall-mounted TV across the room from the curtain that now can be viewed without the sunlight reflecting off of the screen. I find myself able to sleep in a little later with this because it blocks out so much light that you can't tell if it is day or night outside. Great for weekend naps too.

Review 10 for Eclipse Samara Blackout Energy-Efficient Curtain
I ordered 4 panels of the same color, when they got here I didn't notice that two of them were one type of material and the other two of another until I put them up on the window and wondered why they looked funny. Quality control must have missed that one considering I purchased 4 of the same kind of material.

These work great in my sons room that the sun comes in all afternoon, but I hate how stiff they are. I have washed them more then once and they still have this funky smell along with the stiffness. Wish they were a little bit more fashionable. They do a great job blocking out the sun.

Review 13 for Eclipse Samara Blackout Energy-Efficient Curtain
The only thing I was unaware of is the back of the curtain in white, but because of it being the back of the house it is less of a concern with the look of the curtain from the outside looking in.

These curtains did should not be called black out curtains. I live in Arizona and used the curtains on a window that faces the east. The curtains did not block out the light and I ended up doubling over the other curtains I had on the window already to make these curtains black out. The room stays a little cooler but not so much that my ac bill will go down.

Review 16 for Eclipse Samara Blackout Energy-Efficient Curtain
This are NOT darkening curtains! After I put them up, I could see the light come thru just as if there were not up at all. Don't buy these expecting a dark room. You will not get it.
