So i bought these about 2-3 years ago and they were still working until i threw in trash. I went today and tried the Trendy top just to cover my back and no way...the old ones were for light coverage and i just got them bc they were $7.98 but i didnt know they had extra firm ones for 2 for 9.98 so ill be getting those ones today... Now one thing i dont like is that it hugs your butt too and the material is elastic and hot, causing you to sweat so only wear for a short time....
i still have my baby belly and these really work for me...

This product is good for some one who is having pooch problems. I was able to use this and wear pants that i had trouble zipping up. However since my problem is all over stomach and not just a pooch belly, the panty was just not high enough, i would need a hi waisted breif that reaches just below my bra strap. this just gave me a higher muffing top that i already had. So in all it is a good shaper, just not the one i needed.

This product really accents my hips and pulls in my waist. The only problem is that after gaining a few more pounds it has become a little obvious at the top of the waist, where some "pudge" pillows out a little... This product is not meant for the heavy, just the chubby and so I have purchased a control top to fix this "border dispute". I have been getting some really nice compliments lately!!!

These are the most comfortable shapewear I've ever had. They fit great, have good support, and do not ride up the buttocks or fold down from the stomach area. The price is cheaper than anything I've found elsewhere. They might run a bit small, so maybe try going up one size from your normal size.

I am no shapewear expert. This is my first go at it, so I have nothing to compare. I went for this brand mainly for price because other brands can ding your wallet for sure.
However, in this case, I'd say go for a different brand. I am in relatively good shape without much extra weight, but I do have a pooch from having a baby. I have a formal event, and I would love a flat stomach.
One issue I have is the front is not plain. I thought it might have a light stitching from looking at the online pic, but no, it is deeply embroidered. I am wearing a satin dress, and you can see the diamond pattern of the undies through the material--and it is a substantial dress, not some Jr.s Department see through thing.
Another is, I was under the impression that shapewear products were meant to suck you in and hold you in place. However, these don't. Sure, they flatten my tummy, but they push it up and over, creating a weird muffin top effect. I don't even normally have a muffin top in my own underwear. So, this is definitely out for my event. Better to have a pooch than an under the chest muffin top above a diamond patterned belly. No thanks.
I wasn't thinking, and I removed the tags before I tried it out. I'm impulsive like that. I don't even know if this is a returnable item because it's an undergarment. But this doesn't work, period. Not on my body type anyway. But then, if you had a perfectly flat stomach, why would you wear something as unattractive and constricting as these gutchies?
I tried these with jeans, and while they did allow me to squeeze into one smaller size than normal, which was a thrill in and of itself as you all know, it still created the elevated muffin top. So, yeah, I looked awesome in my jeans, but looked alien under my shirt. And if you sit down, you look like you have two sets of chests.
Pass on this.
