The display and functions are easy to use and understand. And it's nice to have the armband able to fit both large and small arms, however I found it somewhat difficult to get a snug fit by myself one handed.

Bought the series 7 after researching a fair bit. I needed something that had to be accurate and reliable. The device looked nice and was easy to use but very very inaccurate. It registered a systolic 50mmhgs over the normal and a diastolic of 25mmhg over the normal everytime. I took the device to my doctor and both he and the nurse practitioner tested themselves and a few others against a standard machine and found this device to be terrible. I returned it the next day and was so disappointed I could not buy another and I am still searching for a good product. My advice is to take your machine to your doctor to find out if it is okay.

I was skeptical before I purchased this product. Now I am totally satisfied. This beats going to cvs or some other location to test my blood pressure. I like the fact that I can average out my day or night readings. Great product for the money.

Pressure monitor appears to be accurate, havent had a chance to compare it against cuff and scope method as of yet, but it displays my usual blood pressure numbers. I needed a larger cuff for my arm, and tried it on a friend who is over 300 lbs. and cuff fit fine. there is more adjustment if needed.

I purchased this model in the store (paid $10 more for it in the store than advertised on the internet). Well I took it back because it was really off. I have an Omron that is 10 years old and still works and just wanted a newer one since I am having trouble with my blood pressure. The readings on the new one were 10 - 20 points higher on both top and bottom numbers than the older one. I know for a fact that my blood pressure, and especially the bottom number is never over 80.
You would think that Omron would check these out before putting them on the market. You can't go to the doctor's office every day to check your blood pressure. For the cost, the newer models aren't that great.

I purchased this at store, and returned it. The comfort cuff was very hard to adjust, two days I tried 10 times each to take BP, cuff hurt my arm with so many tries. Also the height of the cuff was very uncomfortble, finally I got BP taken and reading was okay, but too hard to use.

Purchased online and the one I got had been returned by another user. Went and accepted it anyway to try it. It did not work. Kept giving me cuff error readings. So I took it back and got a replacement of one that was in the store. Took this second one home and tried it. Well, it kept giving me cuff error messages so I returned it and got a refund. Possibly the cuff was too small for my arm but I did measure my arm and it was within the recommended size. I have also tried the wrist monitors and they do not give accurate readings either. I guess I will have to tell my doctors that I cannot find a good blood pressure monitor and see what they recommend.
I would recommend anyone to check with their physician on the best monitor for home use.

This appears to give realistic readings most of the time, but it gives uncalledfor error messages too frequently. The "movement" error has occurred when the only movement happening is the natural blinking of my eyes. The "clothing interference" error has occurred when I didn't have any shirt on.

I am 65 years old. I had a heart attack in my early fifties. I take 2 blood pressure medicines and a 81mg asperin daily. I walk around with a bottle of nitrostat in my pocket as a safety measure. I needed a new blood pressure monitor. After reading the instructions, I used the Omron 7 Series. The reading was so high I anxiously drove to the fire department, which is very close to my house, for confirmation. They got 138/80 on the left arm and within minutes of hearing that I was so relieved when they measured my right arm it was even lower. In short, the Omron was returned!!

I bought this for a friend who tells me repeatedly that she couldn't afford the purchase herself. I bought a different model a little bit cheaper but she didn't like that one. The cuff was Too large. So I returned that one and ordered this one. So far she is happy with this one. She says this one "seems more accurate". So hopefully she keeps this one. Thanks for you're return policy.
