I bought this for my mother. The reasons that I bought this model was that it can do 3 tests of the blood pressure and average them. I had a fear that a false reading may cause my mom to become stressed. The three tests are performed with a one minute break in between to allow the user to make adjustments, speak, what ever.
The unit also measures the heart rate. That and the BP showed that my mom's condition was under control. The history function is easy to use. As for a weekly morning and evening average I have no need for that but some might.
The one con is that the instructions are good but not excellent. It took me a few tries to figure out how to turn on the 3-test mode versus the default of a single. I think that I remember that the unit had to be turned off or on, or something else had to be depressed before it would switch. The instructions weren't 100% clear on this.
The history is easy to view. Just push the button and arrow left or right to navigate history. There are instructions on how to apply the unit to the left arm or right arm (there is a difference) which were clear to understand. To begin measuring the unit's 'start' button is depressed. This button is a bit confusing as it is also the on/off. Once viewing history or taking a reading the unit is turned off by this button. I don't have the unit in front of me but I believe it is called "Start/End" while it controls the start, power on, stop, and power off functions.

Simple to set up, comes with very clear directions to use. We like the dual record memory and weekly averaging. Looked at other devices but none came close to the Omron 10. However, a few weeks after we bought ours it came on sale for $10.00 less at Walgreens. Still a good buy at whatever the price.

Bought to replace our Omron 5 series monitor. ( It had become unreliable ) This 10 series is top quality, accurate, and best of all there is a built in calibration check to ensure dependable readings. The cuff is medical grade for better accuracy than ordinary arm cuffs. I like that you can see your averages and the heart icon will alert you if there is an irregular beat and/or when your pulse is elevated. Great product. No complaints.

Wlamart purchase was smooth. the first time I was not sure the BP monitor was accurate. So I asked for an exchange and that was given right away. The only thing is this Omron 10 DOES NOT come with a storage case. So you have to be real careful to store it in the box until you buy one. YOu could drop it on the floor if you are not careful. Have o buy a case separately.

Don't waste your money on this monitor. The set of three systolic readings taken at the same time can vary by as much as 20 points. Sometimes halfway through release, it would start compressing again. Error messages are displayed quite frequently. Previously I had a Microlife monitor which was more consistent in its set of three readings.

My doctor suggested that I buy a new monitor and after looking through all of the previous reviews on this product I decided to buy it. My main reason for selecting this unit is because it has a calibration check system built into it where as other units did not. This unit has quite a few features that I will never use but they are there if you need them. I prefer to use the unit with the wall adapter instead of installing batteries.

That is the only dis appointment I had. NO CARRYING BAG INCLUDED which I believed should be included in the package. My friend ordered this OMRON SERIES 10 via Amazon and there's a carrying bag included in the box. I asked our local pharmacy here, and yes it should have carrying bag inside the package.

It is very easy to use. It can get a little tight til you get use use to where to locate cuff. The numbers are easy to read and there is a warning if pressure is too high or low.

Very simple to use. Cuff size is marginal for a large upper arm. Would have given it 5 stars if it were not for the cuff that barely fits a large upper arm. Omron should state the maximum arm circumference the cuff will fit.

Bought a cheaper Blood Pressure Monitor couple months ago ( about half as much as this one ) but it decided to just display the letter E about ten times in a row ( E meant the cuff was on wrong ) I tried to correct the problem to no avail, said the heck with it and purchased this one and never looked back.
It comes with a wall wart power supply and a place for four AA batteries. I chose the AA batteries because they say ( MFG. ) the batteries will last 500 times when used six times per day ( that's 3,000 times ). The charger ( power supply ) plus cord just gets in the way but that's my opinion.
Cuff size works for both small and large arms.
GO FOR IT.
