Really good bike for the price. But you will need to assemble it if you order it online. Easy to assemble in 30 minutes max.
Needs maintenance. The tire tube can break easily, need to change one after one weak of use.
And need maintenance to adjust the brakes and speeds few times per year.
The pedals can get off easily, so need to check that regularly.

I believe the ball bearings in the wheels are damaged as the
wheels are not spinning smoothly and I hear a slight grinding noise in the wheel hub.

First Walmart has free bicycle assembly but not if you purchase it on walmart.com. I put it together and I am having problems with the gearshift and I plan to return the bike. the chain skips when I try to peddle uphill.

Absolute Piece Of Junk - Broke On First Day!

Pedal broke off first day - metal completely stripped (and Walmart assembled it for us).
Tried to repair, had to resort to Gorilla Glue in abundance just to hold pedal on until I could return this piece of garbage a week later for a full refund.
Definitely Do Not Buy This Piece Of Junk!
Wife had female version of same bike - constantly shifted gears on its own, made strange noises, returned as well. Junk.

We bought 4 bikes online. This is a horrible product. Each bike had major problems,missing pieces, broken pieces, etc. We had to donate all bikes to Goodwill since the packing material was removed by the movers and we had no way to return the bikes. This was a terrible experience.

The bike is difficult to control when riding. The front end (the wheel) is not steady to maintain, and the overall ride is quite rough. There is not a good suspension under the bike, to make it comfortable to stear, or ride. The brakes squeel right out of the box. It was not as easy to put together as i felt it could have been, especially as I am pretty handy around this kind of equipment. I realize it cost only $88.00, but I expected the bike to handle and perform betterr thann it does. It is really rigged, and not a "pleasure" to ride, as I remember bicycles to be.

Good bike for this price range, light and tough. Good seat, grips are a bit small for me. Can't tune the front derailleur correctly. Now I'm using the 2nd front gear only. rear parts are fine. installed a child seat on it.

Come on, what can you expect for the price?!?! We purchased two of these bikes at the same time. The gears work pretty good on one of them. The other is not so great. We'll probably have to take it in to have someone take a look at it. It's rideable, but you can only use a third of the gears. We don't plan on using these bikes alot, so we aren't too concerned. Otherwise they are nice bikes. We found it much easier to assemble if you deflate some of the air from the front tire before attempting to install it on the bike. We really had to wrestle with the first bike with the tire pressure full.

My review on this bike is awesome. Keep in mind though, you might want to buy a different seat. It hurts sitting after awhile, so more cushion would be better. I bought online, picked up at store and was looking foward into putting it all together and BAM!!!!, it was already assemble for me. So that helped me a lot. You just need to tighten up some screws and check the breaks. Overall Great bike for the price.

Have had the bike for 2 weeks now,very pleased with it so far.I was looking for a bike,to get some
exercise.Living as close to MetroPark as I do,a mountain bike seemed the best way to go,plenty of trails to play on.The only thing I've had to do was replace the seat,original one too hard.First day out,took six mile run to nature center on multi use trail,returned thru woods and bridle trail,bike took everything I put it thru.

The peddles are too close to the front tires. When you try to make a turn in either direction, your shoes hit the front tire. You have to have your toes on the peddle to even attemp a turn. Do not recommend it at all!

I really liked this bike, the only problem was that after two months of owning it and riding several times, 2nd gear broke off during one of my rides. As I was peddling, the gears started shifting and acting crazy. I heard a "ping" on the pavement and realized it was part of the gear! Well, I packed the bike on my car and headed to Walmart to see what they could do. The gal was nice and really outdid herself, but I decided to get store credit. I figured that I would upgrade on my next bike. Any way, overall, I like this bike, and the gears may have been a fluke, but I think you get what you pay for.

I purchased this bike thinking possibly former reviewers had assembled the bike incorrectly or weren't "handy" people. I was so wrong! Bottom line is this bike is a piece of junk. I bought the women's comparable for my wife, and no problems at all. She is just as hard on her bikes as I am mine, and after numerous rides, both on and off road, still in perfect shape. The men's bike is terrible. Problems I experienced with 1st bike: broken petal, chain falling off for no reason, tire rubbing bars, brake handle falling off, flat tire. Problems I experienced after receiving a replacement bike: broken petal, chain falling off for no reason, flat tire.
