We purchased this hand vacuum as part of a package deal with the Shark Navigator Liftaway. We wanted a new hand vac because our current one is corded and uses bags. This one is bagless and has a rechargeable battery--two features we were looking for. It's much easier to vacuum the car, for example, if you don't have to plug in a cord somewhere. And, there are no replacement bags or filters to buy (the filter is washable), and best of all, the suction is better than on our old one.

Bought this unit in 2011. At first seemed to be a very nice product. Suction power was decent, not great but decent. Power lasted pretty long for small jobs, nothing over 15 minutes. Here is the kicker and why I gave it 2 stars. Its only 2 years old with minimal use. I unplugged it from charging and I heard a click. I tried to turn it on and nothing. It was totally dead. I then contacted Shark to see what they could do since its only 2 years old. The Shark customer service rep wasn't helpful, she basically said sorry its a short warranty period and your out of luck; you have to repair it. There is no way I'm going to pay to repair a $40 vacuum. So, if you want a hand vac that dies in 2 years, this might be right for you. I think there are better quality options out there besides this shark. Its just not built to last. As for me, I won't be buying a shark vacuum anytime soon.

I bought the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner AND the Shark Pet Perfect Hand Cleaner, SV75Z. I wanted a bagless vacuum so as not to worry about replacing bags. This one is easy to empty so you can get back to vacuuming if necessary. It has a Lift-away section that you can use separately. But, I didn't want to do that everytime I need to do a quick clean-up. So I also bought the Hand Cleaner and never have to take the vacuum cleaner apart. I bought a good 2 for 1 deal that Wal-Mart was having, cheaper than just the vacuum cleaner would cost me elsewhere.

It works good. Of course it's not like a home vacuum, It gets the job done alright. I use it in my car And it works pretty good. It works 10 times better than the car wash vacuums. I do recommend this product if you're looking for a small handheld vacuum.

We got the Shark Per Perfect Hand Vacuum SV75Z with the purchase of the Shark Navigator Lift Away NV351. We used the hand vacuum for doing our steps at our cabin in WI the day after using our previous vacuum cleaner and were absolutely amazed at how much cat hair we vacuumed from the steps. We own two cats who do not shed very much, but as any cat owner knows, they do shed some. This shark hand vacuum is the best hand vacuum we have ever owned.

I really like this Product when I bought it at walmart but now im disapointed ... when I charge it it doesn't last as long as I thought it would. it still works but NOW the light dont even come on the vacumm. I wouldn't recommend this Product

I bought this item a little over a month ago because I have a 5 yr old, a dog, and a husband that makes messes. It's soooo easy to use my shark to quickly vacuum up any mess on my rug, couch, carpet, wood floor, or tile floor. I use it on a daily basis and it still works like its brand new. The suction is outstanding for a handheld cordless vac. The filter is easily washable. I recommend this item to anyone that has kids, animals, or a messy spouse.

This is my 4th Shark product, and it is just as handy as the other 3. I use it on my couches mostly since I have the vacuum for the carpet. We seem to have an over abundance of dog hair in our house and all of these products are absolutely wonderful for sucking the hair up! I ordered this "site to store" to WalMart and it was ready the same day I ordered it. Shark can't be beat for the good job it does and the price!

This vacuum works well for a very short time. It overheats easily. I purchased this item and also the Warranty. Within 5 months it stopped picking anything up. I called the # on the Warranty Card and was told that it was still under warranty through Shark. I called Shark and they said yes they would replace, however, they asked that I mail a check for $16.95 to cover shipping costs. What a rip off. That increases the initial cost of the vacuum significantly. I asked for them to waive the mailing fee and the rep. said she was doing me a favor as usually you have to pay for shipping of $16.95 each way.

I wanted a hand-held cordless vac that would pick up pet hair off of small area rugs. This does exactly what I wanted it for. It is also great on cat litter. I cannot speak to battery life as I have only owned it a few weeks, but it holds a charge nicely and with use only every few days, it has yet to be charged a second time.

Works great. I just checked the run time with a full charge and using the power brush on sofas and rugs - almost 15 minutes. Very quick and convenient for pickup of a small mess or whatever as most of the time the charger isn't plugged in as per the instructions. I rigged things up a little so it will store nicely in my old Shark's wall mount. The only real downside for my use is trying to keep up with the state of battery charge. As explained in the instructions, after intial charging, recharge only when the battery is "very low". When running the unit, you can hear the motor start to slow down - then it's time to plug in the charger. Problem is you don't have a full charge every time you start to use the unit and don't know for sure how long it's going to last. It would get 5 stars if it had one of the smart chargers that senses the state of the battery and goes to a trickle maintenance mode when fully charged up.
