This thing is going back to the store. It has a horrible musty odor. I just don't trust it for my three year old. Sam's has an awesome twin mattress for the same price that's a lot sturdier and low odor.

Great trundle mattress

I bought this mattress for my 2-year old son's trundle bed. I was skeptical about purchasing a mattress in a box, but the price was right for one that would probably have VERY minimal use. The mattress opened up and took form immediately after opening the vacuum seal. It fit nicely on the trundle and is exactly what we needed. It definitely feels like a $100 mattress as far as firmness goes-- but for a child, it fits the bill.

I bought this for my daughter's bunk bed. It's worked out great. It's a little hard for my taste but that's a personal preference but works for my daughter and she's sleeping great on it. I highly recommend it for a basic bed. If you are wanting a pillow top or really soft bed keep looking.

Not a bad value for those who can not afford higher end products. Do not expect it to last like a more expensive mattress but it is working for our children for now.

Great mattress

This is a great mattress. It is not top of the line but it is not top of the line price either. It fits into bunk beds perfectly and is quite sturdy. It came vacuum sealed and popped open without effort. It has held up well and not "deflated" like some of the other bunk bed mattresses. For anyone who is looking for a good price with a decent product I would recommend this.

Great Mattress!

I purchased this for my son's bunk bed. I couldn't believe the small box it was shipped in. They had that thing folded up tight! I was amazed that a full mattress came out of that box. I paid $9.97 for shipping because I thought it would be worth the $10 to have it delivered to my door rather than figure out how to get a twin-sized mattress home. Had I known it would be coming in a small box that could've easily fit in our regular-sized car, I would've saved the $10 and did Site to Store pickup for free. Anyhow, the mattress is great. I did some shopping around and it was the best deal I could find. My son hasn't complained about it at all, and I even think it feels nice. I actually haven't slept on it, but when I was up making the bed, it felt soft and nice. I have been very satisfied with the purchase.

Mattress came 'deflated' (like those vacuum packed sweater bags) and when I cut open the plastic it 'inflated' and made neat popping noises as the springs opened up. Decent mattress for a child, maybe would get flat after long term use by adult. You cannot rotate the mattress though. On the bottom, there is a large section of thin material just covering the springs, so you can't turn it over to make wear and tear more even. It suited our purpose of a step up bed for our 4 year old. My 5 kids occasionally jump on it and it hasn't ripped or broke or anything. Looks like it will last as long as I need it. (Which I plan to be years)

The packaging was very cool. Never seen a matress bundled in a box, but after i sliced the wrapping and it knocked me down it is in deed a regular matress. Funny stuff, wish i had it on video. This is how NOT to open it..... read directions..

These mattresses fit perfect on my son's bunkbeds, he seems comfortable, I slept on one of them and it was fine half the night but then a little uncomfortable, I could feel the springs. I'm also obviously a lot bigger lol

Great mattress for bunk beds

I read the reviews for this mattress before we bought it. I didn't want to spend a lot, but I also wanted a decent mattress. This mattress turned out to be great. It's firm, but that's good for little kids, and it is light and easy to move.

I initially bought this mattress for my grandma and when it got delivered she called me saying the box was too small, but then we figured out that we had to roll it out! LOL Over all she loves it and says its great!

Perfect for our 6 and 9 year olds who both have beds that don't require box springs, The packaging was amazing and easy to transport. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star is the fact that the edges of the mattresses are not as supportive as the middle so when you sit on the edge you feel like you might slide off.

I bought the 2 pack for my 2 oldest daughters' bunk beds & it is perfect. The mattress comes rolled up in its own box that with a handle for pulling and wheels for rolling. As soon as you pull the mattress out of the box it i wrapped up tightly in a plastic & 3-4 rounds of tape. Just take off the plastic & cut the tape. Warning: mattress will pop out & u will want plenty of room to make sure you don't get hit. It looks as if it is inflating itself. Mattress, also, comes in its own seperate plastic like any other mattress you would buy out of box. I decided not to take off this plastic as I have young children & they still have accidents at night. So, I decided to leave original plastic on #Plus, saves money on buying a plastic cover that rips easily#. Though, I almost cut an end off when I first pulled mattress out of box. Since 1 end was not covered by the rolled plastic. Thankfully, I didn't. I do not regret buying these at all. I do not recommend that a person weighing over 100 pounds on this mattress as it is a 6 inch spring mattress & can crush easily with any person weighing over 100 pounds.

I got these 2 mattresses for my kids new bunk beds. I wanted something of decent quality, that wouldn't cost a small fortune. It IS great fun to gather the kids and watch these things re-inflate as you cut the plastic bag...pretty cool. I read some reviews of people who sent the mattress back upon seeing them flat as a pancake and rolled up in a box. I assure you, they unroll and pop up to look just like a normal coil spring mattress.
Yes, they smell a little at first...but it goes away in a couple days. You CAN feel the springs if you move around on these things. I have neck problems and would not use this as my bed. But the kids don't seem to care at all. They are firm enough...they don't sink down when you lay on them, but they aren't rock-hard with no give either.
If you are looking for an affordable mattress for a kid, that isn't some flimsy thing, get these. Just don't expect a high quality type mattress that an adult might need.
