I bought this table for my sewing projects. I like it because it looks nice, sturdy and price was good too. I have been looking for good sewing table but they are expensive. When I saw this on sale I said I am going to get this. I have a crafting table that used to be my sewing table, but it was a little wiggly and tall that I had to put pillow on the chair everytime I sew which was aggravating when it slides off the chair. And everything was on that table, my sewing machine, tools, fabrics, etc and I don't have enough space to make patterns and cut fabrics. So I decided to get this sewing table. Now it is sooooooooooo much better. The fabrics are inside that little cabinet, tools in the bins, 1 sewing machine and serger on top and the other sewing machine at the bottom shelf. Now my crafting table is wide enough for fabric cutting.

I ordered this sewing desk because I am a new beginner in sewing and so I needed a desk that was versatile enough to be able to fit my desktop computer and my sewing desk on it at the same time. I know holding these two items won't last, but it works for me for right now. So i ordered this one in this dark color. I absolutely love it. It's a nice size and very strong and sturdy for the price I paid which was on sale for $99. I'm actually writing this review while sitting at the desk and sadly to say my desk is filled with work papers for the time being, so at least its good to say this desk can hold a lot. The shipping was fast as well. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I called Sauder and let them know that one of the doors hung about 1 inch lower than the other because of where they had the holes marked. Naturally, I didnt' find this out until it was completed the doors being the last to be put on. Checked it several times and it is definitely just because of the placement of the pre drilled holes. I got the cabinet for just me and I will be just about the only one seeing it. They offered to send me replacement shelf and door, but that would require taking apart the entire unit..not willing to do that. other than that I really like it. Thanks

I love it! So much so that I'm purchasing a second one to do a corner grouping in my sewing room. That way I can roll from sewing machine to serger with ease. I had only one little problem with mine, the slide lock was improperly aligned with the hole and it had no locking slot. I had to replace the slide lock, but that was no big deal. It's a great value for the cost.

Fantastic sewing cart. Opens out to a larger size to cut on. One machine will sit on top while another not in use can sit on the inside shelf or both can sit inside if required and the cart is closed up and acting like a sideboard.Three spacious side shelves for fabric. Pins needles scissors, and other sewing stuff is stored in the door compartments. Love this piece of furniture.

I was very pleased when I opened the box to this craft table. I had been researching the internet for best values for this table and found it at Walmart. After reading the reviews on this site and others about the assembly instructions, I thought I was in for it. To my surprise it was not a difficult challenge and what the directions lacked in clarity, common sense won out!! It is a really well thought out piece of furniture, handsome wood grain, and a great value.
Shipping was quick, brought to my door, in excellent condition and I really appreciated the free shipping.

I like my new craft table. I think the best part about it is how it folds up so nicely into a smaller size. The bins on the left are also really helpful. Once you get the system down, it is not difficult to collapse and expand this piece.
I've found with the two Sauder products I have purchased that they look a lot nicer and are a lot sturdier than some other items like this (for example, a desk from Staples or a set of Cubeicals from Target).
However, this Sauder product has a flaw. When you lift up the leaf that lies on the left of the piece, you have to put it on top of the piece with the bins on it. That's fine, but you have to lift the leaf piece up ALL THE WAY, BEFORE you pull out the piece with the bins on it. If you do not lift the leaf up the whole way, you will dent both the leaf and the piece with the bins.
There are other flaws with my piece, but those were almost entirely because of how I put it together. Because of that I say: be careful and take your time when you put this together. Don't jump ahead in the directions like I did.
I put this together by myself in about 2 hours. It probably would have been better if I had had a second person to spot me and to hold things together while I used the screwdriver.
Also, if you have health problems that prevent you from lifting a lot of weight, and you plan on collapsing and expanding this a lot, this is probably not the furniture piece for you. While collapsing and expanding this piece is not difficult, it is somewhat awkward and heavy.
In short, this is probably one of the better furniture items you will find at a store like Walmart, Target or Staples.

you just can't go wrong with this piece of furniture..the price is right..assembly was easy,and i did it all by myself and i am 68 "old" woman ;-) i used my cordless screwdriver and it was done in no time..instructions were easy to read and follow..didn't make one mistake..i really like the wheels on this piece of furniture..when i was done i put my new sewing machine on top and started to sew...i had plenty of room with the extended table piece...but small enough not to take up too much space...great for smaller apts. i am very happy with this purchase,and would recommend

This is a great desk for my purposes (guitar lessons). I have a monitor and practice amplifier on top, keep a printer underneath, and keep my accessories in on the shelves. Unfortunately, the plastic dividers were completely crushed when I put the desk together. It was absolutely not worth my time and energy to re-pack the desk, ship it back, and wait for another one, so I just called it a loss. Otherwise, it's a nice desk.

First off, I would like to say that the only reason that I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is because I ended up having to order 2 of them. The first one arrived with a large crack on the top surface. I think this was probably a shipping issue though, because the box was pretty beat up. Walmart took it back with no questions asked, and I ordered the second one right away. Shipping was very fast (it was fast for the first one, too), I would say 5 or so business days for each. Once my husband put it together, it was totally worth the inconvenience. It went together very quickly and wasn't confusing or difficult at all (yes,I helped ;) ). It's just the right size, has plenty of storage, and has the appearance of a typical buffet when closed up and not in use. My favorite feature is the storage bins on the door. They are just perfect for separating sewing notions, scissors, sewing machine accessories, etc. while keeping everything in reach. The expandable leaf is also wonderful. I have a table top ironing board that I use on this area. I highly recommend this piece. And for the price, I couldn't be happier.

I put this together in an hour with a little help from hubby. There seemed to be a zillion parts when I opened the box but it was well illustrated and the directions were clear. It is a nice, heavy cabinet and I am very pleased with it.

Love this sewing cabinet. Third one I purchased. Color was important so ordered two of the pine and gave the dark cabinet to a friend........she loved it as well. I purchased two pine ones. One for sewing and one for a grooming table for my dogs. Plenty of storage on the door and inside the cabinet. Rolls wonderfully and with such ease on my tile floors. Plenty of work space on top for both sewing and grooming. Rollers lock in place also; a plus for tile floors. Has extended surface area for additional use or can just roll the door out of the way and keep items on the rolling door close by. Perfect for my purpose. Great price and free shipping to my home. WOW
