Ive got a very heavy boat this trolling motor dose the job. but you better have a good battery because this puppy on high will use one up faster than i excepted

Lot's of power

Good motor with enough power to really move my 12 foot boat along.
Information when I purchased it did not include shaft length. I received a 42 inch shaft and it makes the control handle sit at an awkward place to operate. This is with the fact that I'm 6'3", so a shorter person would really be uncomfortable.
That's my only complaint. It cuts through weeds and clears itself decently. Battery life is good so far.
Would have rated it higher, except for the long shaft not being clearly stated.

I mounted this on my 16' try hull right out of the box. Plenty of control at the lower speeds and all the speed you could ask for in high speed. Was on the water, over the course of two days, about 7 hrs. all together and the battery was still at about 1/2 charge. Looking forward to my next trip.

But seriously, a little more info on your usage process (EXAMPLE: tried it on 2 diff fully-charged batts; checked contact points; checked prop movement while unplugged.....) and the specific "failure" (EXAMPLE: failed to turn on; motor worked but prop didn't rotate; burnt out shortly after initial use...... ) on a review like this would help more folks who read this.
