This C2-45 makes my 10' flat bottom square front jon boat skoot a whole lot faster than I can row. Very pleased with my purchase. I have purchased a C2-30 and a C2-40 from Walmart in the recent past, and all of these motors have undeniable reliabiltiy, but I sure like the extra speed that I get from this C2-45. I wish I had spent a few more dollars on my first two purchases and bought this C2-45 instead!

Minn Kota quality has deteriorated during the past years...DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the screws on the shaft...they used to be made of hard plastic and now they are way too easy to strip. Only brand of trolling motor I have ever used in 40 years of fishing........

I bought a 45 thrust used it about 10 times, shut it off one day, the next day turned it on, nothing. Did a ohm check motor read open. How can this happend when it's brand new.

Good power from this trolling motor. Solidly built. Has U-shaped electrical connectors so for my application I changed them to alligator clips. That option would make this perfect.

I have used this unit twice since I bought and it performs great.I use a Die Hard deep cycle and it pushed me around for 6 hours and still had 1/3 of my battery left.
