This RCA model 46LA45RQ 46" LCD works great just as I knew it would. I first bought an RCA TV back in 1995 and I still have it, it still works! RCA builds things to last. I had no doubt about this product even before I purchased it. Price, quality, reliability, cant be beat. the picture is awesome, sound isn't the greatest but I run audio through my home theater so that wasn't a problem at all. Walmart shipped it out to me sooner than expected too! I highly recommend this model to anyone looking for a cheap 46 inch LCD.

This TV has it all. The picture and sound quality is as good as any out there, especially the HD stations. Setup is simple, with easy to follow instructions. Gaming and Blue Ray connections are quick and simple.
There were no shipping issues at all with the home delivery. The product arrived on time and in very good condition.

After a lot of research I found this to be the best price and size with surround sound and DVD player. Picture is Awesome sound is great even without the surround sound on. Easy to hook up. Plenty of HDMI ports on the tv so you can even plug in the computer. Love the AM/FM radio built into the DVD player. Research paid off and this was the perfect package for our needs. Had this shipped directly to our residence and was received earlier than expected with out any problems. Can't say enough good things about this.

I ordered this TV online as a gift for my mother and had it shipped to the store. Two weeks later I went to pick it up and the employee rolled it out and the box was beat up pretty badly. She let me take the top off and the TV looked fine. Once I got it all set up I plugged it in and there was a HUGE crack in the screen. UGH. Took it back and the return was easy enough. I decided to reorder the TV online, because there was no way it could happen twice, right?? Wrong. I waited another 2 weeks and the same thing happened. This time I was smart enough to have them plug it in at the store. I immediately returned that TV and headed to Best Buy where they price matched it and I drove away with the same exact (but in working order) TV.

The way to pick a LCD HDTV is visit a hospital or rehabilitation facility.
I chose RCA NOT just because of the name!
I was in a physical rehab facility and the TV'S were RCA!
These TV'S are running many times for 12 to 16 hours a day or MORE!
The picture clarity, the sound and the ease of use of the remote control
make this a PREMIUM VALUE.
Samsung captured the market and now has raised it's prices.
The RCA I purchased was frankly underpriced!

the worst RCA ever purchased and even worst was the process to repair or fix it. Purchased the tv in Dec and June it had a yellow line running in the middle-- the repairman said it was a series of TV with this issue and it had to be replace. THAT nightmare is still existing. Can't get resolution. They want you to send TV first -- and from the complaints read from BBB it takes weeks . Not acceptable.

I bought this product and had to return it. I repurchased it and had to return it.
Both times I had a dead pixel. Two times was enough for me. Poor quality control
at the factory! Purchased a Westinghouse from Target and so far so good. It would
of been ok except for the dead pixels.

I bought this TV because I had an older RCA TV and had it for 20 years with no problems, thinking RCA still had a good TV. I guess I was wrong. After it was on for over about an hour, I noticed the sound had a roller coaster effect. The sound would get higher then, lower and back to higher again.

Pictures pretty good, volume sucks. Small static-looking line on top of some channels. It might be a setting, not sure. Not really a big deal though. I would buy again based purely on the size to cost ratio. Good deal.

We shopped around and this was by far the best deal we found both online and in the stores. They delivered it faster than we had anticipated which was great! We definitely started off on the right foot but everything soon went downhill. The picture was not as good as our Samsung that we had before and the home theater system was a disappointment. When we would turn on the surround sound it would work for maybe 30 minutes and then it would make a horrible sound, blarring so loud my daughter covered her ears screaming make it stop make it stop! We unplugged everything and set it up again. Later this same night I was watching a movie and it happened again. Scares the daylights out of you when it happens because you are not expecting it at all. Needless to say, we quit using the home theater system and luckily still had the box it came in so we decided to take it back. Before we had a chance to go to the store the television decided it wanted to participate in the fun. When you turned on the TV the picture would come on however a horrible static sound was all you heard. We were convinced we got a dud. We took everything back to Walmart and the return process was painless. We found a TV in the store which we paid a little more for, staying away from RCA and opted for a Sanyo 50" instead. So far we are MUCH happier with this TV, both picture quality and we went ahead and splurged for a Sony Home Theater System which sounds GREAT!

The only problem is Walmart bundled this with an RCA home theater system that uses a optical digital audio input. The tv has an RCA digital output jack. They don't match and there is no converter for that direction. If you are lucky and use DirecTv, Your rec/dvr should have a optical digital out and you can bypass the TV output. I just got lucky that way. Other wise I would be getting stereo instead of Surround Sound.
