I got this watch about 2 weeks or so and have used it about 7 times. As of today, 12-14-2012, I will be going to the wal-mart store to see if I can get a replacement of my money back because it does not work. The watch would be a nice watch if it would work for more that 2 weeks.. I will rate customer service later when I see what they will do for me.

I went against online reviews, which indicated that this is not a good buy. After only the second day of purchase, the touch sensor stopped working and I exchanged it for the same model. After four short months, the chest strap stopped syncing with the watch. Therefore, I contacted MIO customer service and it was THE WORST experience ever. The item has a one year limited warranty, in which the chest strap is covered, but they wanted me to pay for return shipping. I informed the rep that I should not pay for return shipping because I had just purchased a replacement battery in hopes of resolving the issue. In a nutshell, the rep yelled and told me verbatim "either I pay return shipping or I get nothing." She went on to ask why am I complaining about paying for shipping and that I should be glad they are sending me a replacement. I asked for a supervisor, in which she told me she was the supervisor and there was no supervisor above her to speak with regarding this matter. Subsequently, I e-mailed Mio and complained about the representative's unprofessional behavior. I received a reply e-mail in a day or so, in which, the manger agreed that it was the correct procedure and she was the only supervisor on duty. He, reluctantly, agreed that her behavior was inappropriate, but made no gesture to apologize. This is the worst company you could ever deal with when it comes to customer service and replacing your broken HRM watch and/or chest strap. Avoid them altogether by not purchasing their faulty products.

Works very well and seems to be accurate. Haven't tried the chest monitor yet. The only problem I can see is the strap is built into the watch. Not replaceable if it breaks. I'm not a runner, I use the watch for walking and around the house. Love the big digits....

I absolutely LOVE my Pro Heart Rate Watch! I haven't really used the chest strap, figure I will next time I do a race. Keeps time and I know if I am working too hard, or hard enough. Works great! Can't say enough about it!

I bought this as a gift for my mother's husband. He loves is, says the chest strap is great. I chose this watch because I didn't know if he would want a strapless HRM or one w/a strap and this watch can do both. He loves that it does both. This way, he can wear the strap when he wants continuous monitoring (nice so you don't have to keep stopping and taking your rate) or when he is just out wearing the watch and wants to check his rate w/out the strap he can do that too. The only bad thing is when you get the touch HRM function, you don't get a waterproof watch. I was hoping for both (waterproof & strapless) but that wasn't an option on any of the watches I looked at. This was a great watch for the price, easy to figure out and use and looks nice.

this was a great buy, does exactly what it was bought for but we had to download the instructions for it as it only came with instructions in french. Not a great problem as they were available online

I bought this watch a couple months back after looking at several other brands that I could run with, and did not scream hideous!
Overall works great for everything that I do, run, bike, hike, but I do find that the screen gets a little scratched up.
You can't beat the price, and the strap/no strap option is great.
