I chose this product because my last crock pot that I had had more settings than the standard Warm, Low and High of today's models. I loved that I had the option to go from a Low Temperature to a High Temp with a lot of options in between. This cooker gives you more options than the standard slow cooker. It enables you to roast, simmer, slow cook and a whole lot more. Yes it costs a bit more than a standard slow cooker, but that is because it does a LOT more than a standard slow cooker. I have roasted a chicken andf veggies in it in 3 hours, cooked a standard pot roast over night and look forward to all the things I can make in it because I am not limited by Warm, Low and High. I had to search to find this cooker and I am SO glad I found it. My new favorite kitchen appliance!

very easy to use and clean. So much more that you can do with this over a standard crock pot. We have cooked several different types of meats and meats and veggies, they have all turned out wonderful & tasty. A very good value and not just something you use every now & then.
