It is light weight, only requires 1 AA battery (despite having a slot for two), is plug & play, and has an on & off switch.

Excellent replacement for my GE wireless mouse, which failed after about 9 months of service. My earlier wireless mouse on my earlier laptop (included a wireless keyboard) was just too bulky. This mouse is compact, accurate and easy to use. Its USB wireless connector is so small, I sometimes forget to remove it, and when I start to put the laptop in its case, I'm reminded that the USB is still plugged in. It's a great set, and I'm considering buying one for my sister, who also has a laptop. For those of us with arthritis and bone spurs in the hands, the mouse is much easier than the touchpad to manippulate.

There were some negative reviews out there but I am very pleased with this mouse.
No problems. Should have bought this several months ago but we were moving and some things just got pushed aside.
