I was given one of these planters as a gift and have now purchased 3 more for our office at work. The planters are light weight, basically indestructible, and a fraction of the price you would pay for the stone or cement or ceramic planters of the same size. GREAT VALUE!

The pots are used on a lanai for a landscaping technique. They are neutral, large for various plantings and look wonderful. An excellent purchase.

I love these pots! VERY BEAUTIFUL. My neighbor thought they were real ceramic pots:) They are beautiful pots and look great in my front yard. I did a lot of shopping around trying to find big flower pots and these by far are the very best value. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these pots and highly recommend them!

I have bought a number of these, plus the maroon and green versions in both the 24" and 20" sizes. The structure seems quite tough and durable. The finish, however, won't stand up to rough handling, like being scratched by sitting inside a terra cotta #clay# pot. They are fairly shiny, unlike many composite or fiberglass pots. They don't have holes, but you can easily drill them on the bottom. Thus, they can serve as well drained outdoor pots, or as indoor pots or pots for plants requiring an extremely wet environment. I've used them for both outdoor plant types, and they've worked well.
They are very light, and stack well for transport #car seat# or carrying. In my opinion, the 24" version is a very good value, the smaller sizes, more mediocre in price compared to competitor's products. I've only had them part of one season, so can't say how durable they'll be through winter.
They seem to have multiple layers of some sort, as they may hold water when upside down at the store after a rain, and tipping them only drains part of the water. Aside from the occasional one I've found that seems to have suffered from very rough handling #lots of scratch damage#, the quality and finish seems quite consistent. I THINK that with reasonably careful handling, these could look nice for years #but I by no means am willing to say that confidently#.
To the customer who asked about the inside top and bottom dimensions of this 24" pot, using my tape measure, I get:
Top Rim: 21"
Bottom of pot: 12.5"
Band of concentric circles about 4" on average from the top of the pot #convenient height to fill dirt to#, about 20". Thus, the pots flare to close to the full diamater by about halfway up, like in the picture.

Review 9 for Better Homes and Gardens Bombay 24" Decorative Planter, Tan Almond
Looks great as fountain and planter

I bought two of these to use as planters on my patio, but once they arrived and I confirmed that they did not have drainage holes, I decided to use one for a fountain. I'm glad I did--it looks great! The other one is being used as a planter (after I punched holes in its bottom) a few feet away from the fountain, and they make a very attractive pair.
They're really quite attractive and look like much heavier, and MUCH more expensive, glazed ceramic.
My only complaint is not about the product itself, but the packaging. The two planters could have and, in my opinion, SHOULD have been nested inside each other (as they would be on a store shelf), and shipped in one box. Instead, they were shipped separately, each in its own huge box. That's kind of offensive to me because it really doesn't make sense, ecologically or financially.

I purchased two of these at the Walmart one town over in Killeen . They go great with my Talavera pottery and Texas rustic decor . MY biggest gripe is they fly off the shelves online and in store ! I need two more to go under the supports of my new swinging bench and they are out of stock online and in store EXTREMELY ANNOYING!!!!!!

This planter is huge - a very striking addition to my yard. I have added a gigantic plant of yellow flowers - sturdy yet light weight....
