I was looking for a certain size memory foam pillow at a good value. Decided on this Simmons pillow after reading the reviews. After removing the plastic case, I let it air out for a day. Never did notice any strong odor. The first time I laid my head down on it, I realized this wasn't the pillow for me. It was way to thick and awfully firm for a memory foam pillow. Ended up returning it. Some people might like thick, firm pillows, but not me.

I bought this product after trying a Tempur-Pedic brand pillow. It is not a good copy. It ws too soft and not what I ws expecting. Not a bad pillow but not worth the price.
