The Mainstays 3 X 4 Flameless LED Pillar Candle with Vanilla Scent, in Ivory is a safe candle that functions without an actual flame. Though not real candles, the outer part is made from wax. No drips, so no mess. The silicone flame gives the candle an authentic feel of real candles. This vanilla scented candle comes as a set of 6 and runs on a battery with actual wax. The pleasant vanilla scent creates a soothing atmosphere for any special occasion. These flameless scented candles can be kept anywhere youd prefer without the worry of having to clean up after.

These candles were beautiful. I got them for my boyfriends birthday I wanted to create a romantic mood with out the risk & hassel of lighting real candles. When I picked up the order I thought they made a mistake because they looked exactly like wax candles. I put them all over the room & we kept them on all night. They looked so good & so real I loved them. The only down side was having to buy so many batteries to fill them up.

I purchased this product for several functions which didnt work. The function with the timer lights didnt work the product would stay on the entire time also the candles are supposed to have a light vanilla scent but it only smelled like plastic. It had no scent at all which I wanted to use to have in my bathrooms. Unless you want these candles for mood lighting its not worth the trouble I took them back two days later.

These worked fine. They looked like real candles, and smelled like them, too. My family thought they were real. If I hadn't had to put 3 AAA batteries in each one, I would have rated them higher. I must have missed that somewhere when I bought them.

Candle does not have auto battery timeout.
(Others candles like this that I have purchased do have this feature)
I would not purchase another candle without this feature.
My wife says vanilla scent is TOO STRONG and asked me to remove from area.

I ordered the Flameless LED Candles because we are not allowed to have candles in our office or our living areas. I wanted a light scent throughout my living quarters and office, I could do nothing but shake my head in disappointment after having these for a few days. There is no Vanilla Scent whatsoever and they burn through the AAA batteries very quickly. I will be discarding these once I buy some new flameless candles from another company.

Used these in my wedding and they worked perfectly. Had no cracks during shipping and they all worked fine upon arrival. My only thing -which I expected because of other reviewers- the light is more of an orange than a natural candle glow color. I dont have the pictures yet, but im sure they didnt look awful because of the orange-ish color. Its just something that I had noticed. Like I said, Overall.. Im happy with the product.

I bought 4 boxes of 6 of these candles for my upcoming wedding. I had read the reviews about damaged candles so I paid special attention to thoroughly look each one over for damages. 9 out of 24 were broken/cracked. Some were barely noticeable, some were very very bad. One even had the bottom battery holder falling off and when I put it back in, the ON/OFF switch doesn't work anymore. I'll have to take two of my four boxes back to the store to be replaced and hope they're here before my wedding. However, out of the ones that worked, they are GREAT. They smell fantastic. Not overpowering, but noticeable too. And the flickering effect is realistic. You can tell they aren't real candles, but they're good LED candles. As long as they don't get broken during shipment.

These are just what I needed, I really like them. They take 2 AAA Batteries, theyre very soft and smooth like real wax, not too much of a smell bnut thats not why I bought them. They flicker like a real candle too. I would reccomend them.
The only thing is...I put my candles in 2 Pillars rather high up on my wall and its kind of a pain in the butt to turn them on and off. I should have gotten the ones with the remote or a timer. Worth the extra money.

The flameless candles are perfect----they appear to be a real candle but none of the hassle of melted wax.

I HAD READ PREVIOUS REVIEWS AND EXPECTED TO GET A DAMAGED CANDLE OR TWO IN THE SET OF 6. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRIZED THERE WERE NO DAMAGES TO THE THIN FRAGILE WAX OF THE CANDLE. 4 OUT OF 6 OF THE BULBS, DO FLICKER AND COLOR OF LIGHT MATCHES, BUT 2 OF THE BULBS HAD NO FLICKER AND WERE AN ORANGE COLOR GLOW. ALL IN ALL FOR 18.00, I WAS PLEASED WITH THE PRODUCT COMPARED TO MUCH HIGHER FLAMELESS CANDLES. HANDLE CAREFULLY WHEN PUTTING IN BATTERIES, WHICH ARE 3 SIZE AAA. I HAD NO PROBLEMS BUT COULD EASILY BE DAMAGED IF HELD TOO TIGHT. ENJOY!!!:)
