We are very pleased with this product. My husband put it together without any problems--all the screws/parts fit together perfectly. We've only had it for a week, but it's used at least four times a day. No complaints at all, at least right now!

READY TO RETURN THIS TREADMILL

I have only had this treadmill a short time but will most likely be returning it to Walmart where I purchased it. The only positive thing about this is that the wonderful assembly people at Walmart put the treadmill together for me. The belt makes a loud screeching noise and when I read a recent positive "noiseless" review from another purchaser of this treadmill, I am wondering if something is wrong with my treadmill as it is soooo noisy that I cannot hear Music or the TV when I am walking on it. The screech gets louder the more I increase the speed and I have tried making adjustments to the machine to try to find where this noise is coming from, but have had no luck. Also - the emergency turn off key is placed in a bad spot. Twice, I have accidentally knocked it off the machine which stops the machine and re-sets my workout. Other treadmills have this key in the lower part of the console where it cannot be knocked off easily. FINALLY - I was excited that this machine advertised Google Maps and other programs but you have to sign up and PAY ADDITIONAL COSTS for the Ifit live programs. The pre-set programs are somewhat difficult to understand and reset. Look at other treadmills for a better value.

I've ran on this treadmill for a week and have no issues what so ever. Great entry level treadmill for the money. I like the pre-programmed workouts it has (even without the iFit it's very useful). Took me about 2 hours to put it together. Easy instructions. A little heavy but I managed it by myself. I like it a lot. Hope it holds up!

I have used the product for 2 weeks now and I love it. My only complaint, which is still bearable to me, is the noise level but I realize the fact that it makes a difference having it in in my living room versus in the gym makes a difference.

Only had it a short time. Seems of good quality. Fold up nice. But heavy for me. So it is left down. Runs quite. Did not need to get all the bells & whistles, just to get a quite & stronge machine. The only short coming for me is that the slowest speed is 1 mile an hour. I have trouble walking that fast cause of medical reasons, If it was designed to adjust by 1/2 mile speeds. That would be great. Just wish it had said that somewhere, it only adjust by the mile. Kill switch is nice to have in case I fall. Hand cross bar does not make it easy to hang on. Trying to turn off is hard with one hand. I got a little scray. But if you are disabled with nerve damage to your legs & arms do not purchase this one to start with. I have Nuro Muscle Dystropy. Just was trying to slow down the atropy. Today I am having trouble standing let alone walking about the house. And I quit before I had gone a 1/4 mile. If I could get my grandson to put it back in the box I would have him return it. It's probably great for others whose health has not declined. Programs are a mystery to me. I just wanted to walk on a quiet machine. And not feel like I am being dragged and forced to keep up, when pushing myself causes a lot of pain. And falls Down side is the master turn on/off switch is down on the floor where cord comes out. Wished that was different. Don't know why I thought this would help me out when it is raining & snowing out side.

We have only had it a couple of weeks but it does everything we want it to. My husband is close to 280 lbs and it doesn't bog down any. He loves it and I do to.

Great value for price. Could have more cushion, but understand that you have to pay more for that. Performs excellent otherwise.

I was thrilled to get myproduct until my husband decided to put it together. There is so many manufacturing flaws. The wiring is all messed up. He had to correct it. The holes for the screws do not match up. He does not have it all assembled yet. Who knows what else he will find. I think I SHOULD BE COMPENSATED FOR HIS WORK. All that I can say is I hope I get to use it.

What i don't like about this treadmill is the pockets for the water bottles. They're too short. Bottles fall out while running. deep enough to hold my two pound weights. also, it counts the laps but the image is difficult to figure out - doesn't look like a lap you can follow along with. my belt makes noise as if its rubbing on something as it turns. i love the quick incline or speed buttons, just touch the number you want. the programs are great as far as choosing your distance, time, or speed. its already laid out for you. i got in shape using it in a matter of weeks. Not the greatest, but would definately recommend for the cost.

Review 10 for Proform 505 CST Treadmill
It's very noisy.

The treadmill is too noisy when running. I almost hear nothing from TV even with the highest volume when I am running at about 5 mph. It is even much noisier than my old treadmill I got at a little more than $100. I feel like I am running on the engine of an airplane. I only used it twice after it was assembled for more than 1 month so far. I was considering to return it. But it is so heavy and I cannot put it back into its original box. Stay away from it if you want a quiet treadmill. This is definitely the worst treadmill I even used.

For the money, this is a good treadmill. The installation instructions are a little tedious. The wire that comes up from the bottom to feed through the right support is a lot shorter than what is shown in the instructions. So, you keep pulling on it trying to make it longer. But, the display panel wire is long enough to connect to it. I guess that was the hardest part for me. The display has a few led "squares" that are out but I can't let that bother me because it would mean taking it all apart and shipping it back. So, yes this is a good quality treadmill for the money. :)

Very nice professional grade unit. Easy to assemble. The track feels nice and solid. Was surprised to find that the unit can be folded up out of the way. So far so good.

Replaced a 14 year old dinosaur treadmill for this gem. The shock absorbers on the deck work great and the speed settings and incline settings are fantastic. Very stable surface even with all of my 220lb+ body running at a level 7 pace.

The shipping method and the delivery guy was awesome. He even took the boxed treadmill inside my house. My husband didn't have any problems putting the treadmill together. Seems to be working great. My husband was amazed with his new treadmill that was a Christmas gift, he has used many before at gyms and said this one is perfect. So spend the extra money and go with pro form. Wonderful product.

I ordered my treadmill, and it arrived to the store sooner than the store estimated. It was less expensive than competitive stores. I love my new treadmill.

This is hard to work on and move because it's so heavy. You put wheels on and still have problems moving it around. Plus it's very noisey. The belt set up from factory was terrible I had to adjust and thi took very long

This was bought as a gift for my wife. She loves it. It is much more quiet than our previous $300.00 tread mill. Used the site to store shipping, which took about a week. Easy pick-up at store and assembly was very simple. Only complaint was that I was shorted four screws that I needed for assembly. I called the company and they promptly sent the four screws that I was missing. No other problems with the unit.

Pros: Quick Shipping. Box is large (6.5 ft long X 4 ft wide) and about 250 lbs which fit in the back of my mini van (without back seats of course) Easy assembly, I did it alone in about 2.5 hours without any power tools. Assembly time would be shorter with a second person. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow! All parts are clearly marked. The machine itself is very nice for the price. Well lit console with a nice display. Quick speed and incline controls are very beneficial when doing interval training. The running platform absorbs shock well! Cons: Some assembly components could be designed a little better for more efficient solo assembly. The unit does tend to move if on a smooth surface (hardwood floors) when you're at higher speeds so it may need some sort of a higher friction surface! I got a 0.5 inch thick rubber mat. Seems to have solved the problem!
