I have owned one for 6 months with no problems of any kind. It is a very handy quick sweep when doing small jobs. Picks up my cat liter from all surfaces, food from kitchen floor and droppings from carpeted areas. The side brushes are not a great and useful thing. But I love the sweeper. It handles even my cat's hair.

Perfect for Bathroom Sweeper

I purchased this to use in my bathroom since my cat makes a mess in her cat box and I am constantly cleaning up cat litter in there. It works great for this purpose! The side brushes do not work well if at all but overall, this is an great product. Charge lasts a long time!

After initially charging the sweeper within 30 minutes of use on carpet and floors the left wheel locked up and could not be loosened. Read about this same problem online that others have had. I am returning to the store to try another mfg's sweeper.

Used it on carpet and hard floors and it does a great job of picking up dog hair. The little side brushes are a joke, as others have mentioned...but I really don't care. Overall, quite pleased with the unit and the battery seems to last longer than the SHARK sweeper that this Bissell replaced.

I was looking for something for an easy, quick picker-upper. This more than met my expectations. I love, love it. It's quiet, easy to assemble and picks up great.
For a small sweeper, it tries to pick up my rugs. This is a great sweeper.

The best thing about this sweeper is the battery running time. You have to move the vacuum swiftly to grab the dirt on the floor. I used it only two times and I could not easily move it back and forth so I decided to return it to the store.

This cordless vacuum is Junk! There is no way to stop the rotating brushes on bare floors, so the machine pitches everything behind itself. The suction is poor. I used it twice, thinking maybe there is a trick to operating it, but it did the same thing. It was used for lightweight things like dust and pet hair, on a bare floor. What it did not pitch behind, became wrapped around the brushes, which further blocked the sweeper's ability to vacuum. I give it NO stars!!!!! My little Eureka, that I plug in, cost less than 20 bucks and was a much better product. Looks like I will be getting another Eureka.

Yes, the side brushes don't work the greatest and the back wheels stick but overall it is a great product. Also my long hair wraps around the brush. Spite of that it is just as good as a dust pan and broom.

Just started using it for the first time . The rear wheels stick alot and a a little rubber blade came off.Returning back to the store.Have an old shark still works battery getting week . Costs about 23.00 dollars for new one but can buy a brand new shark for about 30.00 dollars

I just bought this sweeper a few days ago and overall, it works well. It picks up crumbs and cat hair very nicely, but the 2 little side sweepers are driven by a rubber band like belt attached to the rear wheels and due to very poor routing of the belt, it's always slipping off. It's somewhat a pain in the neck to take the unit apart to reattach the belts. It's happened 2x in 3 days, so I may return it and get another brand. It's a shame, because everything else on this sweeper works well, and i like the design of it and the color too.

I'm so pleased with my purchase. Once it's fully charged it's so easy to use. The bin for the dust just lifts out to be emptied and is so much easier than other cordless sweepers I've used.

This is my second Bissell sweeper. I had the first one more than 6 years before he stoped working. This new sweeper is very much the same kind but has a new feature which is little brushes that come out the sides of the sweeper itself to get into corners. Great product for sure I would recommend to everyone looking for a easy cleanup on their floors or carpeting.I am pleased how well it picks up pet fur off the carpets.

I bought 2 of these for my business. The first one stopped working after only 3 days. A broken belt came out of the machine and the 2 side brushes ceased working and one of the wheels froze up. I don't understand it because I had another one of these for about 2 years before it stopped working. I've yet to use the 2nd one I purchased. I'd send the broken one back but becasue I bought it online it would cost more to send it back than it is to simply replace it. Be that as it may, I will probably buy this unit again.

Wheel failure on 4 consecutive models-Defective

My husband and I wanted this vacuum to be a keeper sweeper. We bought one and exchanged it twice and Bissell sent one replacement to me at no cost. All four units had the same wheel problem in under a week. The back wheel stops turning and the unit cannot be pushed, so it becomes useless.
While it works it is a great picker upper for kitty litter and fur. It is quiet and runs quite a while on the battery charge.
My carpet is very short pile. Flat. The unit was used by adults and very carefully. We thought that if we went slow, kept the unit turned off when pausing and stayed away from area rugs with higher pile perhaps the unit would not break. We removed dirt from unit after every use. Removed any threads on roller immediately. Gentle use did not improve life expectancy.
I would avoid this model and would never recommend. It is defective.
Bissell did repond promptly when I advised the company of the problem (free replacement in about a week) Walmart exchanged the vacuums bought from their store without question.
I have now purchased a Dirt Devil and will give it a try.
