I would highly recommend this product. Easy to fill, quick to heat up, light weight so easy to handle. I almost love to clean my floors now! Just using water/steam no chemicals or toxins. I love it.

I have to say....I was very disappointed in this steamer. I started using the hand held steamer for counters, and the steam did NOT stay on and I could put my hand 6 inches from the nozzle and it was barely warm. I thought that tipping it forward might be making the steam not come out, but it really didn't matter.
The mop worked a bit better, but still the steam was very weak.
I'm returning it this week.

After saving up money to purchase the product, I sadly had to return it, We plugged it in, waited just shy of thirty minutes for the steam to work, never started to steam. So we tried using the hand held item, after tiring my hand waiting for it to steam I finally tied the button down and waited and waited and waited. I finally gave up. Unplugged it and returned it to the store. I wish it would have worked. Being the house has to stay nearly hospital conditions, and bleach smell aggravating my family, steam seemed the perfect alternative. I see I was incorrect. I will continue to find something better.

I got the shark because of seeing it on TV and seeing what it could do I had to have it. I got it today and I pulled it out and put it all together and started to use it. Steam was coming out and and seemed like it was working like it was to do. Not didnt clean the floors even stuff that i put on to see if it did and it didnt.
Told my wife that I want to try the X5 mop. its also got better attachments..

I live out in the country and the dust is bad in my house . this steam shark help keep it down . I try to use it one time a week . And I clean the church so I use it one time a mo. It the most greatest thing I use on the floors and I love it.

I bought this I like it at first then that one quit steaming on me then I took it back and got a new one and it would only steam the way it should when the water tank was full I had the bring it upright to get it to steam I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone really and it takes 6 times to go over when your floors are sticky I have 3 kids I understand they are more time consuming but not that much I saw someone mention a Haan brand steam mop and I am gonna try that one it has great reviews better than the Shark a lot of people have said they took their Shark Steam mop back and got a Haan and couldn't be more satified

I bought the mop and like the job it does. But when I try to use the handheld unit it stops being fun. It spits and sputters and then every once in awhile it will give a blast of steam that works great. Unfortunately it doesn't happen very often. Makes my arm tired waiting on it since I don't know how long it will last. Works good when it does work, though I will give it that.

I had a hand held for years from Shark, and it was well worth the money .. I had it for almost 10 years.. It finally broke so I had to replace it.... Went with this one .... I have dust allergy's and need to steam my carpet first then vacuum .. This one didn't get hot enough for me .. A lot of the heat went up .. since the nozzles are straight.. Not sure if they have pad's just for this ... The heat overall wasn't up to the one I had before.. The tank could be bigger too ..

It took forever to attempt to clean a small section of my kitchen. The steam was rolling, but it had troubles. I filled the thing three times and at this rate it will take 4 hours to clean my kitchen.
I think it's okay if used daily after the first clean:(

I have a cat with allergies and all honesty, chemical floor cleaners and mop head replacements do add up over the years. Plus, I didn't like having sticky floors when I got done mopping.
I wanted a Shark Steam Pocket for a long time but just couldn't afford it at the time. I finally was able to purchase the Shark Lift-away Pro. I loved that it can not only steam your hard floors, but deodorize your carpet, had hand tools to steam drapes and other things. It's an all in one.
Having used it the first couple times on my hardwood floors, I was kinda wary of its performance since my floors felt different afterward. They weren't sticky or how they felt after using chemicals but the proof of its work was on the white turned gray pad.
I have been using it for about two months now and I think it works. My cat's allergies have almost disappeared. I use it once a month to deodorize my carpets.

I purchased the Shark Pro steam mop for use on ceramic tile floors. I particularly was interested in using a product that would adequately clean the grout. I have three children that are playing on this floor and wanted it sanitary and free from stains. I feel it cleans the floors from a sanitary standpoint but it does not remove stains from the grout.

Bought this because I have all tile floors. It works ok, but it seems to leave 'streak' marks on floors. Also have an inlaid linoleum floor in patio room, and it also left that with streak marks. I went over the same area several times, but it left streaks. Also used the lift-off for doing the tile around the shower stall and it worked ok there.

Use to mop on hands and knees

I was skeptical at first. So I mopped my floors like I normally did (hands and knees with a rag and bucket), and then went over it with this mop. OMG I still picked up some stuff! So now I don't waist my time moping by hand I just use this (after I vacuum or sweep). The only thing I don't love is that it doesn't pick up hair (animal or human) so sweeping first is a must. Also I wish the water reservoir was bigger.
