As a disclaimer, I've never used a dyson but I would imagine that this powerful vacuum could run circles around one! I couldn't believe how dirty my carpet was! I was thoroughly impressed with the suction power of this vacuum for a fraction of the cost of a Dyson. Why in the heavens would someone pay $500 for a dyson when the Shark Navigator Lift-Away is available! I'm very satisfied with this vacuum and how easy it is to maintain.

I love this product....it does exactly as stated and is lighter than expected which helps me very much. I have pets and it does wonders for cleaning up their messes. I even bought one for my mother :-)

I was planning to buy Dyson but found this vacuum that offers everything that dyson does for 1/3 of a price. Great vacuum, great suction - I live by the beach and my carpets are always covered with sand and this vacuum does the great job! Love it!

I bought the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner AND the Shark Pet Perfect Hand Cleaner, SV75Z. I wanted a bagless vacuum so as not to worry about replacing bags. This one is easy to empty so you can get back to vacuuming if necessary. It has a Lift-away section that you can use separately. But, I didn't want to do that everytime I need to do a quick clean-up. So I also bought the Hand Cleaner and never have to take the vacuum cleaner apart. I bought a good 2 for 1 deal that Wal-Mart was having, cheaper than just the vacuum cleaner would cost me elsewhere.

Fairly easy to put together... the suction is great. Love the feature of turning off the roller, so I can do my tile & hardwood floors. I also love the way it swivels, sorta like a Dyson, but without the ball mechanism. You will be happy with this purchase!

I read the reviews for the Shark Navigator, went right out to get one, and was amazed at its performance! I have both a golden retriever (lots of fur!) and two relatively new rugs that are still so full of lint! The lint balls up on high traffic areas and my old vacuum just couldn't remove it. I tried out the new vacuum as soon as I got home and had to empty the container 6 times, filling my garbage can half full with lint, dog fur, and dust! My rugs feel soft and fluffy and are now lint-free! It is very easy to assemble as well; everything just snaps into place. I'm so impressed! Only complaint would be that the cord is too short, but that's just a minor inconvenience!

An awesome. Vacuum cleaner for the money. Worried about needing to have a belt change. Hearing horror stories about how expensive and inconvenient it might be. Could be my first and last Shark purchase. Time will tell. Film at eleven!

We recommended this vacuum to our housekeeper ... actually she asked how she could get one because she liked ours so much. We're both pleased with the quality and effectiveness on both rugs and hard surfaces. The pull apart is great for stairs, furniture etc. We have two wonderful dogs who leave a lot of dog hair behind and this vacuum does the job!

The Shark Navigator NV351 vacuum cleaner picked up a canister full of dirt after I had vacced and steam-cleaned my carpet. It performs better than my old Oreck for sure. Also, its light and easy to maneuver and the canister is very simple to remove and empty. I love it!

Quite honestly, i have never, ever seen an affordable product that works exactly the way it is depicted in commercials and ads. I am blown away by this vacuum! I used my very loud, problematic "dirt devil" first. Then I used the "shark". I used it non-stop (except to empty, which was a breeze). 3, 000 sq.ft. steps and all. I have a 100 pound boxer/mastiff mix that sheds constantly. This vacuum has ZERO loss of sunction no matter how full it is. This vacuum was sucking up particulate paint in the carpet from 5yrs. ago! Never overheated, filled it beyond the fill line etc. I even used the turbo attachment on the dog (rocko) he used to be afraid of the noise...not anymore. He thinks he's getting a massage or something. I can't say enough about this product. I didn't even plan o using it the first day but, after I got it out of the box, I just popped everything into place (without reading the directions) then read the directions and vacuumed literally for hours! Luv this vacuum. Already did demos with friends and family. Whenever the wheels fall off this one... I will get another one! Great product!!!

I have never submitted a review for any product I have ever purchased, but I am so excited about this vacuum that I wanted to share. The suction and cleaning power is nothing short of amazing. The cup is so easy to empty and I didn't get my hands dirty. The day my Shark arrived, I had already vacuumed the house. I tried it out and could not believe what the old machine had left behind. The carpets looked cleaner and fresher and even felt better. The only compliant I have about the product is that the cord is not long enough. I have to change it in almost every room, but that's a small price to pay for such awesome cleaning.

Powerful suction cleaned area rugs like they hadn't been cleaned before. The large models Dyson and Sharp didn't collect nearly as much as this compact Shark. I like how easily it turns and the easy-to use switch from hard floors to rugs (settings I and II). Warning: you can't lift out the extended hose until you've unwrapped the cord.
Price and size perfect for an apartment dwelling bachelor.

I really like this vacuum cleaner, the Shark Navigator Lift-Away. It works great, really strong suction yet so easy to move around. The lift-away makes it so much easier to vacuum my stairs. I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner.
