Wanted a sturdy tv stand for our new 50" TV...this stand was not what we expected. It is not color espresso, it is color brown. The shelves came damaged and they don't even align well. One of the front doors won't close properly and you have to wiggle it so that it can close. We do not recommed this tv stand at all.

Overall we are satisfied, though the entire unit was a challenge to get together properly, especially aligning the doors. The magnet closure not working right still. But a great solid unit, good height!

Made of dust...

This thing arrived in good condition, but right away one of the key components to the front broke as we were unpacking it. This thing is cheap, even for particle board. The screws literally ate away the dust that this thing is made from. It looks nice, but it's basically made of styrofoam and sawdust. kinda like fake furniture you see in a model home. Do yourself a favor and pass.

Unfortunately I bought this based off the web pictures, the height, and the site reviews. It wasn't difficult to put together but after putting it together the doors weren't straight unless I put something under one of the feet and then it straightens out. The height was right for my needs. I knew it was laminated before purchasing but it looks really cheap and has bubbling on the edges. Has plastic like look to it and scratches really easily. Luckily it came with a touch up pen that fixed the scratches. It feels solid overall but can't really get over how cheap the laminate looks. If possible try to see it in person before making the purchase. The glass doors improve the looks but one of the doors has this kind of rainbow staining when viewed from certain angle in sunlight on it that I wasn't able to get off the first time I applied a glass cleaner too it. Not sure if it's permanent. I went to my local Big Lots and found better looking stands around the same price range and cheaper. I can't comment how good those stands are but I wish I had gone there first before making this purchase. I was considering giving it away and buying another stand but based on what I paid for it I should probably get some time out of it. I'll probably give it away at some point and get another stand.

the tv stand came cracked and broken. It is not properly wrapped. Its only protection is a cardboard box, no tissue paper, bubble wrap, or styrofoam. We took it back to Walmart and bought a different tv stand.

We did quite a bit of research and we just couldn't find exactly what we were looking for and then we happened to drop in a local Walmart store and noticed that they had a huge selection...but they didn't have what we were looking for at the store...so we went online and we found 3 TV stands that we really liked.
We were pretty happy with this one and then I was even happier when I started putting it together and it was a lot simpler than I had expected. Took about 1 1/2 hours to put together...but I couldn't have done it faster. I'm not big on tools and putting stuff together but this was easy.

We purchased this to go in our bedroom as a taller tv stand than we had before and we are very satisfied with it. It's very sturdy wood and holds our tv well and I like the fact that the drawers are glass but not wide open. Semi containment of clutter works for me.

It took me a couple of days to finally get this tv stand assembled. The finished product is beautiful with one exception...I have tried and tried to adjust the hinges on the doors to get them even but directions I'm following do not seem to make it work. I finally got the doors to close but it is still crooked. But otherwise, great value for the money.

I wouldn't recommend this stand. The door don't close right. You have to pull one up while you close it or else it scratches on the bottom. The backing is cheap card board. Takes a long time to put together. It is not real wood. It's just like the cheap book shelfs that walmart sales.

I have always enjoyed putting things together, but I don't know if I’m getting older or what because this wasn't fun at all.
The box was ripped and don't know if FedEx did it or it was something that was returned to the store and then resold. Some of the parts to this were worn looking and one was cracked. One screw was missing and I had to buy it from Lowes.
It take two people to put it together.....I worked on it for an hour, before my daughter started to help and we completed it 4 hours later. I still need to level the doors but I can't figure it out. I will do as the instruction state and then the door that was kind of level will be off and then I will fix that one the other one will be off. When I look at it I see that the doors are off a little, but I decided to leave it alone. I now know I need to buy furniture that arrives already together from this point on.
It is holding my 42 inch TV and other machines and it looks great for the price, but going forward I will buy something that I will only need to tell the delivery folks where to place it....lol

After reading the other reviews I wasn't sure if I wanted to purchase this tv stand but I'm glad I did! It is a great looking TV Stand and it is very durable my only compliant is I was looking for a darker color finish oppose to brown but it will do! I absolutely love the height of this stand. Great Buy for the price!!!

Maybe it's just me, but in the picture the stand looks black.....well let me clarify......it's not even close to black. I decided to go ahead and have it put together beacuse I really liked the stand mainly because of the height. I quickly regretted that. The assembly wasn't too bad, however after adjusting OVER AND OVER AND OVER.......we could not get everything to fit flush so there are several gaps around the doors that are very visible. I am basically stuck with it because there was no way we were taking it apart to try and return it. It could be a very attractive stand and maybe I just got a bad one, but for more reasons than one I strongly advise you to weigh your opitons before purchasing this stand :-(

I set out looking for a stand that would keep my toddler from going after all of my components. I had hoped for a stand with an integrated mount thinking that would be the safest but couldn't find one with a closed compartment area. After reading reviews on this product I was a little hesitant but decided it was the best I could find. I am so glad I went with it. It looks amazing, not cheap at all and my son can't reach the tv which is exactly what I wanted. It was extremely simple to put together, coming from a 23 year old woman who is about 100 pounds, I was able to do it all by myself in a couple hours. It was a little tedious but not overly so and I didn't have a drill handy and was able to do everything I needed with just a screwdriver. It did have a couple small Knicks but in the very organized package of screws and other supplies, was a wood marker that matched the color perfectly and now you can't notice a thing. Very happy with this purchase. Looks great and you can't beat it for the price. Would recommend to everyone!

The quality of these (I purchased 2) media cabinets is excellent, especially at this price. Assembly was easy to follow, and the measurements are right on. I used them within a media wall we had built and it was extremely important that the measurements were correct. I absolutely love them.
