It is a very nice blind. It is plastic with wood prints and the weight is much lighter than faux wood blinds. The price is unbeatable. They arrived within a few days but I realized I needed a bigger size. Returned them to the store in the original package with no questions asked. BTW, shipping was free so I didn't lose any money at all.

These look very nice in my bay window...had a problem with one of the blinds , one of the slats was a little off...set it on the side window, where you cant see it...other than that, great look...two out of three were perfect..

The descriptio says: •Embossed with the look and texture of real wood...No way, there just brown colored vinyl...Period.....Nothing about them says "wood"...faux or not....Dissapointed. You get what you pay for with these....

I needed temporary blinds to darken a room, they worked pretty well. They were easy to install once I could squeeze the brackets free from the back of the blind. I would have rated these blinds excellent however some of them did not lay closed as smoothly as they should have, but you pay for what you get.

These shades are fabulous! My home is east west facing so I am constantly battling the sun and heat and glare. Prior to discovering these blinds, I had the cheap white one inch standard blinds that were already in the house. We had to use static cling window tint (dark), close the blinds, use dark sheers plus ugly brown room darkening curtains just to be able to watch tv in the late afternoons!
Now I can leave the blinds open but slightly tilted and still see outside etc and not feel like I'm in a cave!
They are super easy to install, lightweight, and give 100% room darkening plus privacy.
I would have preferred the white 2" blinds but in my situation, I knew I needed the chestnut color.
I have ordered more and will be installing these on EVERY window, even the French doors leading to a very sunny deck!
Expect to wait at least a week to 10 days to arrive but we'll worth it!

This is a great value. I wanted faux wood blinds that would go well with my 90's oak trim, and these match pretty well. They are slightly more "apricot" than my trim, but overall match very well. These have a grain texture on them, but are solid in color. The slats themselves are thin and bendable, so upon closer inspection it's very evident they are faux wood. They do the job I want with the look I want for a great price.

Product flawed and order not complete

I love the look of this, however the pull cored is frayed and I'm not sure how long it will hold up. I don't need to lift or lower them daily, but the window they are in gets all day sun and not sure how long before the sun will rot out the fragile cord where it is frayed. Also the part to attach to hold the bottom rail down was not included in the box. I am ordering a replacement so I don't have to take down all the hardware to return it and I will return this when the new one arrives, providing the new one is acceptable. As previously stated, it really looks nice in my kitchen window....looks classy with the wider slats and a color other than white.

The look good, but they are thinner than I expected. But then I did not pay a lot so I got what I paid for.. They block the sun, they afford me my privacy, and they match my room. Who could ask for more. They were easy to install once I checked the directions, and they fit my space exactly as they should. So I am doing well. Don't expect the moon, but do expect a good fit, nice looks, and keep the small children away from them because they are a bit more fragile than I thought they would be.

Even the white one's block the light. They look like California Shutters, so I really like them. They are sturdy and the brackets make it easy to put them up or take them down. Since they snap into the bracket, you don't have to be perfect on left or right because you can adjust the blinds to the left or right, as long as you put the brackets on level. Very happy with the quality. Not flimsy like those mini-blinds. These are heavy and sturdy and I expect to enjoy them for many years. The Actual Measurements on the blinds you get will be 1/2 inch smaller than what you order. For Example: 36 inch Blinds will actually be 35 1/2 inches and so on........ I guess this is for inside the frame type mounting.

The Richfield Studios 2" are very good for the price. Keep in mind that they a little flimsy, and not high quality, but for the price and block the light in the nursery room, it serves it's purpose.
