I purchased the Gazelle Freestyle w/ThumbPulse about 4 weeks ago and I love it. I was hesitant to get it at first and was going to save up for an elliptical machine, but this works great! I don't use it everyday, so it's a good test for me to see if I really should by something more expensive in the next year. I use it at least 3 times a week for about 30 min. Lost some inches already! Just last week it began to squeak a little while I was working out, but noise is not unbearable at all. So, if you are unsure of buying this machine, I say go for it! It's worth every penny and you won't feel like you wasted your money.

I feel this is a great machine for the money. I like it because it doesn't make my knees hurt. It does have a squeek to it but it isn't anything I can't live with. The pulse also doesn't work on the computer. For a beginer this is defanatly the machine to buy.

I bought this product in hopes of losing weight, I work 8 hrs a day and have a little one at home, so it is kind of hard to get to the gym. This machine serves its purpose, I can go home pull it out while I am cooking dinner, workout and fold it away. It is hard to put up, unless you have a high rise bed, it will not fit because the angled handlebars. But if you have a corner to fold it in, then you are good. I would definitely recommend this product, it has made me sweat and given me a full workout. I have not had it long enough to see if it is really helping in the weightloss area as of yet.

About 10 years ago I was in a horrible car accident that totaled my car and left me with a serious back injury. I wouldnt purchase another piece of equipment from this manufacturer ever again. Upon opening package there were numerous broken plastic pieces (mostly from the thumbsplus). I wanted to get this thing together ( it was a mothers day present to my wife), so I epoxied the plastic pieces to get by for the time being. As far as storage goes, the equipment is big, awkward, and does not want to stay in a closed position. The pedals flop down and have no storage locking positions. Mabe if I had a role of duct tape I could get it to fold up correctly. Finally after getting on the machine I decided that I would get a better work out playing with my kids. I should have known thats what you get for buying cheap, there is no cheap or easy way to exercise at least when youi look at exercise equipment. I would strongly urge enyone wanting to purchase this to find someone who has one & try it first. Buyer Beware!

Tony Little's Gazelle Freestyle w/ ThumbPulse I lived with my daughter for about 2 years almost 2 years ago and she bought one of these Gazelle gliders. When I moved in with my father as caregiver I missed it so much I knew I had to have one for myself. I finally got my Gazelle Freestyle. It is an excellent overall work out machine with no impact on joints, which is what I need. I am very satisfied with my Gazelle Freestyle and would not be without one ever again. My 92 year old father has been using the Gazelle Freestyle and is building up his stamina and I can tell a difference in the distance he can walk and the steadiness he has now walking. I would recommend this machine to anyone who wants an effective overall workout.

The Gazelle is easy to use, fun, and a very low impact on knees. I have been able to follow the whole work out CD with no problems or extra pain in mt joints. The most difficult thing about this product is putting it together. The instructions are clear but caused us to back track and un do some steps to to do another but we were able to get it together. I would recomend this product to any one that needs little or no inpact exercise.

for the price paid, this is a pretty good quality product. it squeaks when i use it, (and at 150lbs i'm not tiny, but smaller than some!) and is so bulky i dont even understand the wheels that came with it... it's just too cumbersome to try and put away when i'm done using it, so i just leave it out.
this really is a fun product, and after only 30 mins i get that lovely feeling in my legs and especially thighs that tells me with every twitch that the machine is working. i dont feel this when i'm using it, and the low-impact on the knees makes this much preferred to jogging, but only after climbing down can i tell that i've even been working out!
after a 2 months of using this product 3-4 times a week, i dont see any difference in size. my clothes are still a little too tight from the winter, but i FEEL better... and i suppose this is what matters most.
i put this together myself, and it's a bit heavy and cumbersome so i imagine it would have gone easier with help, but it's not impossible with only one person. the directions are lacking, or maybe i just was too excited to get it togther, but after assembly i had to take it apart again to add on all the extra pieces that it really doesnt need: calorie counter, wheels, ect. water bottle holder?
i could have done without the water bottle and holder if they could have just made it so it didnt squeak constantly during use. but it's still quieter than my exercise bike so maybe i shouldnt complain.

I read many reviews positive and negative about the Gazelle's from several different sites before purchasing it. I am so glad that the negative didn't influence me not to buy one. I highly recommend this Gazelle Freestyle specially to those that are dealing with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, back and neck problems like myself. It's very easy to use, and very fun. I have owned in the past many different types of equipments like so many and didn't continue with them, but I can tell this is different I look forward to using it. As far as putting it together there isn't that much to put together and the directions are easy to follow. The machine didn't take up nearly the amount of room it appeared others posted, so I am glad for that. I have noticed already a difference in my body, better movement and less pain, and in time I hope less body fat.

I really like this product. I can get on it and get a cardio workout any time I am crunched for time and can't ( or don't want to) go to the gym. My only complaint is the squeeking noise but I can still get on it and work out while watching a movie without being bothered by the noise. It still works better and quieter than any treadmill I've been on.

I purchased this to have as an alternative to going to the over crowded gym. It gives a good work out when used correctly, and was easy to assemble. It does squeak a lot, but with the tv or Ipod on, I don't really hear it. ( Have tightened all the screws, but it is still noisey.) Overall, it is an acceptable product for the price and will not go unused in my household.

Overall, the Freestyle is a fantastic machine to use and really does fold up for easy storage. Pros: Strong machine, holds up to 350lbs. Fluid movement with no jerky or noisy stops. Also, folds flat so you can store under a couch or be relatively easy. Cons: The machine is not very wide so your hips might hit the side. Also, when you are folding it flat the foot pads tend to swing all over the place. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a well-built, sturdy, and affordable elliptical.
