The Knee Walker I purchased exceeded my expectations. It is so much easier to use than crutches or a wheel chair. It has increased mobility many-fold. It is light-weight and easy to transport, even without utilizing the folding feature. The hand brakes add a safety feature that I was not expecting - you can lock the brakes to mount and dismount. It goes readily in places where the wheel chair will not go. The warning on the handlebars is a nice touch, and I have promised not to travel off-road.

A worthwhile investment! I love this walker - I recently broke my left foot, and was looking into an alternative to crutches. This gave me so much more independence. It's light and compact enough to lift and store in the back of my wagon/suv, and I just use my crutches to supplement walking between my car and garage. Works great on smooth flooring, just a little slower on carpet. With the brakes on, the walker makes a great resting place to elevate my foot while sitting at my desk.

I had surgery on my Achilles tendon 2 weeks ago & this scooter has been great to have. To me it's worth so much to have the mobility that crutches & walkers don't provide. The quality of the scooter is excellent. Very sturdy. I would recommend this to any one that has a lower leg issue.

I purchased this scooter for my boy friend. He just had surgery on his foot so he really couldn't be on his foot so his physical therapist suggested he try using the scooter. Anyway it was really easy to put together and is super easy to use. The only problem is going over large cracks or uneven pavement. He's fallen off twice. So be careful and watch where you're going other than that its great to get around we definitely recommend this product. :)

I was in Hawaii where I saw many tourists using knee wheelers. When I broke my ankle there, I searched everywhere for the device. I couldn't find one but was able to order from Walmart. By the time I got home, the knee walker was waiting for me. It was easy to assemble and learn to ride. My only problems came from a sharp edge (near the brake handle)that cut my finger. I have also had my loose pant legs (needed for getting over my cast) get caught up in the rear wheel. I learned to wear cropped pants and move my leg away from the wheel. The freedom of movement with this device is outstanding. It is well-balanced and the brakes are more useful than I ever imagined. The turning radius is very small. I have been able to easily move the wheeler when I needed to. I am able to carry a cup of coffee and steer at the same time. An excellent product. I does need a bag or basket for carrying items.

It rides smoothe, turns and brakes easily. However it is so light and easy to manuever that it can flip onto its side if you aren't careful. The price and quality are amazing. Overall,,,, it works perfect for what I need and the price is unbeatable!

I am not a person who could tolerate crutches....insurance paid rental on knee walker when I had foot surgery in May 2012, Medicare says no pay, so I decided to just purchase one for myself. Perfect for anyone who has foot surgery & would like to remain mobile without the bothersome crutches.
Adjustable & very stable, with no fear of stumbling. Most insurance companies would pay the rental, but I am finding out Medicare is picky.

Having just had foot surgery, don't know how I'd get around without this scooter. Crutches really seemed wobbly, and the thought of falling on my very wounded foot was awful. Wish the knee platform was padded a lot more. Have attached a folded piece of foam with bungees, but that is less than ideal. Scooter is well-made and feels sturdy. Similar items at a major drugstore chain are much more expensive. Need surgery on the other foot, too, so will use it again in the future and will lend it to friends when they need it.

I could not use this product due to having a bad hip on the side I needed to elevate my foot. It appeared to be a good product it just wasn't suitable for me. It was fairly easy to assemble. Walmart also made it easy to return.
