This Drive Medical Transport Wheelchair Aluminum in burgundy weighs only 14. 5 lbs so its light and easy to get around in. The ultra lightweight transport chair is 19" and has a weight limit of 300 lbs. This Fly Lite Transport Chair, Burgundy Frame comes with carry pocket on backrest and companion drink holder, plus a seat belt for added safety. Outfitted with attractive plaid-style nylon upholstery, this ultra lightweight transport chair has tool-free, height-adjustable swing-away footrests. The Drive Medical Transport Wheelchair Aluminum features 8" casters in rear and 6" casters in front and the back folds down for storage and transport.

I bought this wheel chair so that I could take my husband to appointments. It is all it is said to be. I could lift it, when folded, with one arm. It is easy to place in and take out of the car.

i have 2 other wheelchairs ,but as i got older i could not handle them,,,this one is for my husband, and i must saythis is great,,,it is light easy to handle,keesand seem comfortable for him,,,it is exactly as worded ultra lite weight....with my bad back and artificial knees this is great plus thwe price beats everyone else. and arrive very fast

I knew what I was purchasing, but this wheelchair was nicer than I had expected. The fact that I could simply pull it out of the box and it was ready to use was pretty amazing. It is the same weight as my mother's four-wheel walker and a lot easier to load in and out of the car. I highly recommend this. Fantastic value. I priced this same wheelchair on several websites, and Walmart has the best price hands down.

More than pleased with the ease of use. It arrived fully assembled except the leg rests needed to be snapped in place. As a caregiver in my 70's it was very important that I could handle this chair by lifting it in & out of the trunk of the car, and it is very light weight and easy to grasp to lift into the trunk. Very easy to push and turn. It is also a very nice looking chair and received many compliments by professionals and potential customers.

Yours truly rates this item a good value for the money in this context: my wife is a new wheelchair user. If her medical condition requires her to be wheelchair-bound, we will likely purchase a standard chair with wheels she can move, but we will keep this light weight unit for daily auto travel. We used rush delivery and were very satisfied the chair arrived on the date specified.

I love that the wheelchair is lightweight and easy to navigate.
But, front wheels have no lock which makes it very tricky and unstable when getting in and out.
Also, I thought this would be more narrow ...only about 3 inches less wide than our at-home heavier wheelchair.

We originally bought the lower priced, 33 lb chair but ended up returning it because it was too heavy. This one is SOOO much lighter! It's easy to move & fits under tables like a normal chair. Only thing I wish it had would be adjustable handles (the chair's are kind of set wide). The seat cushion is thin, but with this being a transport chair, we only expected as much. For longer trips we plan on adding another cushion. Other reviews mentioned it being flimsy, but we've found it to be light, but well-built. We'll see how it holds up to overseas travel!

Received the wheelchair in a timely manner and was surprised at how light wt. it really is! The wheelchair is very good looking and seems well made and is easy to use. I also like the idea that the rear wheels are slightly larger than the front. I will be using it for my husband, on occasion, when we take the car. He has a power chair otherwise and we have an accessible van we use. Great chair so far..... Thanks Walmart for a great price and Drive Medical for the great chair!

Bought this for my 89 year young father for a trip back east. At first he said he didn't need one, but we convinced him he did. He was able to enjoy visiting the sites and he always had somewhere to sit :) He says it is very comfortable and super lightweight. It folds easily and can fit in the trunk of any car. We only wish it had come with a bag because the footrests have to come off when folding and they could get misplaced. Very nice and a great price.
