Only suggestion, mailcarrier asked that it be raised about 6 inches taller than it was meant to be. We adjusted post and filled with dirt and rocks.

I am so pleased with this. I especially like the rear door to get my mail - this keeps you from being at the curb and in the street when getting mail from the front. I love the color and have had many comments from the neighbors how nice it looks. Easy to mount to the existing post.

nice mailbox, very easy to install. didnt like how the 4x4 showed from the back, it comes with a small plastic cover but it doesnt cover the entire 4x4. I paintd the 4x4 black and it blends it just fine. if i bought one again i would buy the slim model cause this one is quit big. but overall very happy with the purchase

My mom wanted this mailbox to replace an older metal box. She wanted one where she could get her mail and newspaper together and do away with her newspaper box. It worked out great. I installed the box in a very short time, less than half an hour. One of the features I liked was the fact you're able to retrieve the mail and newspaper from the rear as well as the front. The instructions were clear and although the box had to be put together it was very simple. I'd definitely recommend this mailbox to anyone.

Still needed a drill. Some of the holes were not pre-drilled. Good for the price. Would buy again. The rubbermaid one at home improvement stores was twice the price, and the same product.

As a 21 year old college student I had reservations about putting this mailbox up, but it went up pretty quickly without ANY swearing involved!
Something’s you will need
1. Power drill to drill a base hole, and then to screw in the bolts.
2.Ratchet wrench (the hardest party about putting this together is that there is very little space to twist the wrench)

All in all this mailbox will take about any hour at the most to put up.

We installed the mailbox and the mailbox opening in the back, so you don't have to access the front does not latch, it won't stay closed....very dissappointed for that reason

This is a good mail box for the money. I like it because of it's size. It is able to accomodate larger packages and envelopes. We had a box just like this one but someone either backed into it or ran over it. It cracked the post base even though it is plastic.
