i love the color and the shape/design. I read the previous reviews and saw they were mixed for the height and decided to give it a shot. My baby is 5.5 months old and of average height, her feet dangle above the ground on the lowest setting. She loved the toy tray. I don't like that the battery isn't replaceable. The music is a little too loud. I will be returning this for one that Cammy can use now instead of after she is walking on her own.

she loved it, other than being too tall

MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE FACT THAT THE BATTERY CANNOT BE REPLACED ON THE LIGHTS AND MUSIC THIS IS VERY UNUSUAL IN A CHILDRENS TOY AND I KNOW THAT WHEN IT RUNS OUT IT WILL NOT BE AS FUN FOR THE BABY. OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE IT.

Review 7 for Safety 1st - Sounds 'n Lights Activity Walker, Pink
I was really excited to have my baby girl try out her new walker but was very disappointed once I put her in it and her feet didn't touch the floor. My daughter is 6 months 25 3/4 inches long. The first height is too high from the floor. I wouldn't recommend it unless your baby is tall.

Bought this walker when my daughter was 5 months old. I had seen all the photos of my friend's babies on Facebook in their walkers, and decided my baby girl should have one of her own! The box said "4 months and up", and Bailey was almost 6 months... so I figured that everything would work out great. OK, so not. I didn't mind it's cheesy quality... it was under 40$, I didn't expect much. What irks me is that my daughter is now 7 1/2 months old, and CAN STILL NOT TOUCH THE GROUND! And she's always been on average if not slightly taller for her age. It's on the lowest setting. I've had more then one person take a look at it to see if it's operator error. It's not! It's just a walker for apparently very, very tall infants. She will be walking before she can touch the ground in this thing. What a joke, wish I still had the box and receipt.

Review 9 for Safety 1st - Sounds 'n Lights Activity Walker, Pink
This walker is too tall for an average sized baby. My daughter is 6 1/2 months old and 19" tall and she can't reach the ground on the shortest setting. It is well put together and was extremely easy to assemble.

Great walker for the price

We are very happy with this walker. My favorite thing about walk the walker is that the seat comes off for easy cleaning. When the seat is off, it is easy to clean every crack and crevice of the walker. We have washed the seat in the washer on a normal cycle weekly for the last 3 months and it as held up VERY well (no signs of wash wear, doesn't hold stains, etc.). We put it back on the walker while still wet. Being able to wash the seat and the actual walker so thoroughly is a huge plus for us, as it doubles as our daughter's high chair ... which brings me to my next point. The toys on the front snap off (though it can be difficult to get it off!) and there is a small tray for finger foods. It was a little tall for her when we first got it (she was 8.5 months and a little below average in height), but she has grown into it nicely. My only complaint is that I wish it had brakes so that we could keep our daughter from zooming around the house at times. Overall, especially for the price, we are very happy with the product!

Pretty but cheaply made walker

The seat is way too high even at the lowest setting for a baby who is 25" long. It says not to put a baby who is more than 30" into it. That only leaves a couple of months of use. The music and lights did not work, and you are not supposed to change the batteries for this one. That is in the information packet. That would have meant tearing it completely down and taking it back. My husband took it apart anyhow. It requires 4 of those smaller type of batteries that remind me of something you use with a watch. We could only purchase a pack of 8, which cost $8. Works fine now. Also, the back wheels only go straight, so there isn't a lot of maneuverability.

Review 12 for Safety 1st - Sounds 'n Lights Activity Walker, Pink
My daughter is 9 months and I just bought this walker for her. It was very easy to put together and about 10 minutes after I put my daughter in it, she was walking. Now a week later she is running in it and cutting all the corners. She can easily get around the whole house. The wheels roll with a nice flow and the removable toy tray make it very easy to give your kids all there little snacks. I highly recommend this walker.

way to high

This product was so high, my 8 month old who is in a high percentage for her height could not touch the ground on the lowest setting. She wants to walk on her own in the worst way and got really frustrated she couldn't make it move on her own. My in-laws threw out the box by accident after we bought it or I would return it. Wish they would take it back without the box because it just sits in our room taking up space and not getting used. :(

NOT A WALKER

This so called walker is not a walker at all. I bought this for my daughter that is 7 months old and 30 inches long. She is fairly talll for her age and can NOT reach the floor. I don't understand how this could even be called a walker when she can't even reach the floor. This may be good for a child who is 9 months to a year old at the very least. However by that time my daughter won't even need the toy so I will be returning it. The quality is okay and the toys are decent. The tray is kind of hard to get off and I think that the end that locks in will not last long with taking it on and off.
DO NOT BUY IF YOUR LOOKING FOR AN ACTUAL WALKER IT'S TOO TALL.

Review 18 for Safety 1st - Sounds 'n Lights Activity Walker, Pink
This is a very cute walker. I read the reviews about it not being for short babies and thought I would be ok since my daughter is very tall (in the 90th percentile) however she is still too short to reach the floor. On the lowest setting her feet still do not reach the floor. I would not recommend this for a young baby or a short to average height. If you have an older baby it might work but is not appropriate for a 7 mth old. I think she may enjoy it later if she is not walking on her own before she is tall enough for this.
