This is a Man's sweatshirt, but I wanted something a little more roomy, plain and in bright red, which I could not find in women's sizes. It is a true red and a very nice color. I usually wear a large in women's hoodies, so I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. Based on other reviews, I plan to wash it in cold water and hang to dry to prevent fading and shrinking. Fabric is not too heavy-- not too thin. Just what I expected. I am very pleased with my purchase.
