I'm so disappointed with this microwave.... I was so glad to get it because it's so big, and with 1200W, I thought It would heat up just about anything I wanted to, and in a short period of time... and it did... at least for the first few days, but it had not been two weeks of use yet when it just quitted working!!!

This microwave is HUGE so be prepared to do those turkeys and large roasts in here. I have examined mine carefully and found no flaws or problems. I just can't believe the price! It is the highest wattage I have found on the market too. This means your food cooks faster and more accurately. I love the presets especially for popcorn and heating up my tea when I've gone off and left it to get cold somewhere. Push one button and it's done! I haven't made and real meals in it yet but I can't wait to do this. This microwave is the best one I've ever had.

I have searched the net and read alot of reviews and found the GE 2.1 to satisfy my needs.
I don't have to separate my 13 x 9 casseroles anymore because the whole dish fits with room
to spare. It is alittle large for a tiny counterspace so if you purchase it, make sure you look
at the measurement first as it will stick out. It heats up really quick. The color whish is silver is a very light silver and very modern and attractive in the kitchen. It is user friendly and for the money is a good buy.

this was so heavy , i had to have a very large man put it in. then everything worked except THE HEAT! needless to say i had to go to the trouble of taking it back. bought one off the shelf smaller but nicer. do not buy this. one other customer had the same problem. maybe they sent me hers.

Have owned & used every day for a month. Right on the button for most settings. Re-heat setting sometimes reheats a little more than needed. Popcorn setting leaves about 2-3 dozen unpopped kernals but just use the 'add 30 seconds' feature and it will pop almost every kernal. Does baked potatos perfectly.

The first one that arrived came with the package bumped up and ripped. We got it out of the box and set on the counter, when I opened the microwave to look inside the parts inside were all jumbled around and one plastic piece was broken. I do not believe this was Walmarts fault, I think it was more to the careless, fast driving of the delivery person. I called GE and they said they could not replace the part I had to send it back to Walmart. I called Walmart and they were very pleasant and helpful. Walked me through the return process and I boxed it back up with lots of tape and sent it on its way. The second one has arrived and is working great! So far so great. I cannot comment on its durability because I have only had it less then a week but because of the ratings I went ahead and bought the extended warranty but as of now I could not be more pleased with this microwave. It is big enough for all my dishes to fit and turn in there. If I can I will update this post later for durability. One suggestion is to try to keep the original packaging to send this back if needed. Would be hard to find a box this big to send back and this is the only way they will accept returns is if you mail it back.

Walmart offered a new or refurbished model. I bought the new one. When it arrived it looked like it was resealed. The microwave had two missing legs. They were not in the box. Inner wrappings were just thrown in. The microwave did not look new. I had to return the first one. It was not in the store so I could not exchange it. I liked the price so I ordered another one. The second one came with the box completely taped together. The second microwave looked better than the first one. The packing was better but still lead you to believe it was repacked. The legs were all there. A few minor scratches on the top but not noticeable in the cart. I cleaned and sanitzed it to be safe. It worked when plugged in. Not convinced it is a new one but not enough to return it. It was cheaper than other stores for the same model. It seems to be an older model and very cheaply made but compatible with the price charged. I am not unhappy enough to return it but not happy enough to recommend it.

We bought this microwave after another microwave disappointed us by not warming up our food in the expected time span. The microwaved was delivered very timely, and really works well! It's a very powerful microwave, and a fantastic price for this level of power. It's clean and sleek, although you must realize that it is quite big. We didn't realize that. The round tray inside looks about the size of a full pie of pizza! But we like it anyway. We gave a 4 rating for durability, simply because we haven't had the machine for that long, so we can't make any long-term promises yet. But know that the value is excellent and it works beautifully.
